I bought a $100 APPLE GIFT CARD tonight and the card was unopened and looked unaltered. I opened this card inside the store right after purchasing and found that the gray lamination over the code was missing and there were only 13 of 17 numbers of the code with 4 numbers missing off the end. I immediately tried to get assistance but no one would help because the store was about to close. I was told that they would not refund the $100 but to call number on back of card. However, I stayed around in the store and talk to a couple other associates but met two officers instead. Yes the called the cops to escort me out of Walmart. No one asked me to leave or anything. In addition, I was told the I was barred from all Walmarts for life! I’m the one who got scammed out of $100 with a card they sold at Walmart caused by their negligence even though they knew all about these card scams going on in the store. I don’t go to Walmart really all that much anyway, and in my personal opinion they are evil. They are nothing like they used to be many many years ago and the people they have working at these stores lack training. There was a certain team lead or I don’t know what he was but did not try to help me at all was kind of arrogant acting, and then as I was walking out the door, he yells out… “HAVE A GOOD NIGHT” sarcastically and trying to taunt.According to the Manager he was fired that same night for his actions. As of today, in addition, to this review, found out that the there have been lots of gift card scams going on at Walmart, in Danville Indiana. these scammers will take these cards home, wipe out the numbers and then insert a different number and then they will reseal the package to make it look like it had not been open. The corporate office called them SKIMMERS. Please watch the video I included. The corporate office took report. Walmart is responsible for the Skimmer scammer NOT APPLE. Corporate Office and the Walmart Manager are the ones that told me that there have been lots of scams with these gift cards of many types and third-party cards as well. Walmart was supposed to have taken them off the shelf after the first incident, but did not. Corporate office sent message to the regional manager of the Danville Walmart. She did call me however nothing was really resolved. She was supposed to have called me today. She promised she would but never did so, I contacted corporate office that she did not return my call here on Sunday. You see, Walmart of Danville, Indiana is not protecting us consumer because they are not removing these cards from shelves to protect us from it happening again. The Walmart Manager informed me that there is another incident prior to mine, but yet these cards remain sold in. The stores are not locked up in anyway or anything to protect us of all money being spent and so they’re keeping the gift cards out in the open for people to buy and lose money on because I have yet to receive my hundred dollars back that I lost on the Apple Gift Card I purchased from this store location #06476.

Second time finding 20 day old expired meat on the shelf for sale. Someone needs retraining before the health department gets involved.

I usually don’t do reviews however. I do pickup orders fairly often. Last night I did an order and the person who loaded my groceries was by far the kindest person I’ve yet to meet. I wish I would have gotten his name. I’m pretty sure it started with an H. He made sure I knew that some of my items were unable to be filled. He asked if I had any bread, eggs, or chips if I wanted them upfront. When he saw that my bread was smashed from during the picking process he told me he wasn’t satisfied with the way it looked and asked if it was okay for him to get me a new loaf. I told him I appreciated it and he thanked me for letting him get me a new loaf. A few minutes later he brought out a new loaf. I offered to tip him for being so considerate. He told me that it was necessary and that he just wanted to put a smile on his customers faces. I hope that I get this person again when picking up groceries!! By far the best experience I’ve ever had at Walmart!

Very clean and well stocked. There was one item I could not find though unless the packaging and portion size changed. The pricing of things have gone way up. I understand inflation but some items were a tad ridiculous. The staff was friendly though and will be a returning customer.

Lines always long. One person on check out so your kinda forced to go to self check out. And now an officer stands at front of store that looks mad cause he's there. Won't be going back unless necessary.

The store is pitiful. An aisle shows tea is in it but tea is actually 2 aisles away in the coffee aisle. Seven employees beside womens dressing room and not a single one knows where t-shirts are. "If we have them, they are on the racks." Never mind half the clothes are folded and on shelves. Self check-out area was filthy. I was afraid of anything touching the area in front of the scanner.

Proper staffing is central to a “good” Walmart. Without attention and thoroughness, Walmart would be no better than a gas station grocery.I am pleased to report that this is not a good Walmart; rather, a great one.
