Bought a 2004 Impala for my grandson who's car basically comepleyely died on him out of nowhere (one thing after the other in one months time). We agreed if i bought it on a card, he would take over the payments- which he's been doing since we bought it in 2012. The car was basically band-aid'ed up to look and drive great the day of someone buying it - but as soon as a week went by then a month- the band aids started to ware off and the real condition of the vehicle was revealed. The electronic part of the system was faulty, the transmission was a complete joke, all of the doors made a noise so terrible that an annoying squeak would have been more tolerable. The exhaust was DUCT TAPED and not secured properly under the vehicle to the fact that once my grandson drove on a road where it dipped down a hill - where there was fresh snow- it must have “grazed†the exhaust because it compeleyely came undone in the middle and the back half fell right off. He stopped and went and got the pieces and when we took it to a mechanic family friend- was told there was duct tape and residue from tape and glue all over where the secure brackets should be- and that 80% of the bottom was rusted out. Come to find out there was even more rust on the entire frame and under the hood on parts i'm told could have made the engine or other parts fall right out if it would have broken at the rust spots. We dealt with the older gentleman i think it's the father but he seemed pretty nice and down to earth- i'm not saying it's a terrible place to buy a car- because maybe this car we bought was the best job they could do with what they had. But service wise he was nice but if he knew what we (over)paid for, he should have had the decency to guide us to another car of a similar price range instead of getting a car that would put my grandson in the same car-less spot he was in 18-20 months from then. i say 3/5. If i get a car i may not go there, i may see what they have but you can bet i'll be bringing someone to help me inspect the vehicle to see if i'm being ripped off

Jennifer foster your review is a complete false aligation against this business. As not only have they been in business for MANY years but also they are VERY reputable. We have bought numerous cars from them. Seems to me your son must of torn it up as ALL teenagers at some point drive like fools. Maybe if u had taken it to the place they offered u would have had a different result. I've had MANY worse experience at actual lieing Ford, dodge dealerships. I'd absolutely go back to greers!!!

Terrible place to buy a car! WARNING!! They will promise you the sun and stars! We bought my sons car in March. He has put on less than 4,000 miles. When we were buying the car the young kid (owners son) told me that if we had ANY PROBLEMS WITH THIS CAR to call him and he would make sure the problem was taken care of! I called him last week and I explained that I believed that something was wrong with the transmission. He told me "my serive guy is not in today but here's the number to my buddy Mason who owns K&M Transmission." "He will call me and let me know what the problem is and we will go from there." Well, needless to say my sons car wouldn't make it that distance so we had to take it to the Ford dealer down the road from where we live (my sons car is a 2011 Ford Fusion). They said that the transmission fluid was never changed seeing that the color was JET BLACK! And we were told all fluids from Greers were changed! I specifically asked them if there was anything wrong with the transmission or engine. I was told "No everything is fine but if you have any problems bring it in and we will fix the problem" I LITERALLY WROTE ALL THIS DOWN WITH DATES AND TIMES INCLUDED! So today I find out the transmission has to be completely REBUILT! So I called Greers spoke with the owners son and he literally cussed me out! Asking me "what do you want me to do about it, you signed that the car had no warranty" I kept my temper at bay explaining to him our previous conversations and he basically was just like "sorry about your luck" I told him that last week he told me that "he has never seen a Ford Fusion have a transmission go bad with the car only being a one person owner" I guess he didn't like that. So I said "you told me your business is run by word of mouth and I find it so insulting and my son feels violated by being lied to. He then proceeded to scream "I don't give a f... Who you tell" "They won't believe you since your son is 20 (same age as the owners son) they will think he speeds and doesn't take care of it, I know I speed all the time." yep that's when I lost it! My son and I were almost killed last August by someone who was speeding. So my son DOES NOT SPEED AND HE TAKES DAMN GOOD CARE OF HIS CAR!" He was so proud to have owned it! I'm in shock by the lies that were told to me and being screamed at by some 20 year old who made a ton of money off us by buying that car from him! PLEASE RECONSIDER BUYING ANYTHING FROM THEM! And one last thing, I asked him to send me a copy of all the servicing that was done by them with this car and he told me "We don't keep records of any servicing we do, we don't have to." POOR EXCUSE! And yes I will be calling all the newspapers regarding this so called company. We are devastated! And I wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else!
