Perkins' Good Earth Farm, established in 2009 by Dan and Julie Perkins, is dedicated to growing the veggies that customers need and love. The farm offers a variety of organic produce through its CSA program, which provides four seasons of fresh vegetables. From mid-April to mid-November, visitors can enjoy the farm stand and kitchen, which are stocked with fresh, delicious food and baked goods. The farm also supplies certified organic bedding plants, soil amendments, and specialty products like hardneck garlic, black garlic, and wholesale produce for restaurants, farms, and grocery stores. Using bio-intensive growing methods such as cover crops, organic inputs, bare fallow, and minimum tillage, the farm promotes land preservation and improvement. Guests appreciate the picturesque setting and welcoming atmosphere, often enjoying activities like helping pack zucchini or picking blueberries, strawberries, and fresh lettuce. The farm's products, including blueberries, buckwheat, zucchini, and other fresh produce, are highly praised for their quality and taste. Many visitors recommend stopping by, noting how the farm connects the community, offers organic options, and provides a memorable experience for all ages.
