Doud Orchards is a cute store and orchard with a plentiful selection of products and decor. Visitors enjoy the fun apple ride and tour. The staff is helpful and sweet. Favorite items include amazing Carmel apple pie, delicious Honeycrisp apples, apple donuts, and fresh apple cider. The apple cider slushies are also amazing and so good. The accommodating orchard lets guests pick apples right from the tree. It is a favorite fall destination where families have a good time and many plan to return.
Having grown up on a working apple orchard and market I consider myself a junior expert in this field. Douds is probably the best market in the state. Their apple cider is amazingly delicious and worthy of all the awards it has won. Well worth the hours drive from Fort Wayne.
