I used to love coming in here but lately all I get is attitude from the workers!!
Whoever was working today around 12 had the biggest attitude yet! Thankfully she met her match with me. The line formed 8 people before she came out the office eating a bag of chips and yapping on the phone. Did not say anything to me, or say “have a good day” NOTHING. Just “28.49” with the biggest attitude all while being on the phone cursing about her boyfriend to whoever she was talking to.
She then flung the bag onto the counter and it made the medicine fall out of the bag! She just looked at me, no “sorry” or anything. We went back and forth and I told her if she was going to have an attitude maybe she shouldn’t work in customer service. The entire line even said something about her behavior and how she shouldn’t be at work. She just looked at me with the biggest dumb look on her face.
They have self checkout and HAVE NOT USED IT IN OVER A YEAR! They are on but signs on them saying “out of service” yeahhhhh right. If you guys cant give proper customer service then TURN THE SELF CHECKOUTS ON and don’t interact with customers. SIMPLE!
Terrible and this place is a waste of space. All the expired food on the shelves, literally DUST on the food products. Dirty, building and lazy workers that shouldn’t be in customer service.

The last two times I ordered on door dash it seems like the only pop that was available on the shelf was all expired. Today I ordered and I accidentally picked this location because of the previous time that i got expired product, but it was more expired than the last time! Last time it was 2 weeks expired......this time it was over a month and 3 weeks expired! I got my money back from door dash, but as someone who works in a retail environment similar to this store, you need to have your employees check for expired product on your shelves because this is absolutely ridiculous.

didn’t think i needed to make this review until i got treated like garbage. never coming back to this dollar general after the blonde girl named noel did not want to do her job right. she sits in the office knowing there’s customers needing help! Not right that she makes the STOCKERS ring up customers while she just sits back and does nothing in the office. about a month ago an employee told me that she doesn’t do anything and would delete the footage on the cameras so she doesn’t get in trouble, never saw that employee since. ALSO saw her give a customer free dog food and heard her say that it’s already damaged out and that they can take it! and that she will let them know when they have more! not right!! NEED A NEW MANAGER THAT CAN DO THEIR JOB!!!

I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding the store manager at this location. I have been a frequent customer at this store, but my recent experiences have been disappointing and frustrating due to the conduct and apparent absence of the store manager.
The manager is rarely present during regular business hours, making it difficult for staff and customers to get the assistance they need. A lot of time when I’m in there they have their employees alone. When the store manager is on site, she speaks to employees and customers in a rude, unprofessional, and at times demeaning manner. This kind of behavior creates a hostile and unpleasant environment, which reflects poorly on the Dollar General brand.
All customers and employees deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy. I hope this issue is taken seriously and looked into promptly. I would appreciate a follow-up regarding any actions taken to address this situation.

Honestly, if I could put no stars, after my most recent visit today, I would. Went in for a few things, stood in the check out line for about ten to fifteen minutes, no cashier came up to the desk. Self checkouts were also not working. two customers stepped up behind me and the other person I had with me. Called out that we were ready to check out. Even called the store phone number to try to get attention, no answer. Another customer finally found the cashier to come up to the desk, and she really seemed upset that anyone disturbed her to wait on customers.

As others have pointed, this store advertises online that it is open till 10pm, but nearly every day you will find a new handmade sign taped to the door that says, "Closing at 9pm." I just experienced that tonight, along with two more cars that pulled into the lot after me. It's ridiculous and unprofessional.

I wouldn’t even waste the time if it’s past 8pm. I like calling the store when I see this sign posted in the window, because someone always picks up. Last night there was an employee who got into a car accident so they were short staffed. Week before…same thing ?. Staffing isn’t short enough to stock the shelves and answer the phone till your scheduled time, just not letting people with money in.I would tell the owners to maybe be more aware of poor employees and lack of caring at all but I think it’s a habit they picked up from the owners. Don’t be fooled by the stock photos the place is in shambles

BUYER BEWARE!Too bad I can't give 0 stars to write this. They close at 10pm, got there about 9:45pm for flu meds. Lights on doors locked 2 cars outside. Another customer showed up about 9:50 as his wife needed meds. I told him we should both call again tomorrow and of course no one answers the phone. Went to gas city and luckily they had flu meds. Cars at DG were running now so I went over to question why they closed early but they were probably watching the cameras.

I have been here twice now and I am not impressed. I looked around the entire store 3-4 times looking for anyone that worked here and couldn’t find a soul. They there’s no one checking you out so it’s hard for some people to do so. It’s brand new and is only decently clean. There’s always stuff on the floor or missing off the shelves. The prices aren’t great either. Even their “clearance “ is about the same price as regular stores. I won’t go back unless I have to.
