While the doctor is friendly, I would make a few recommendations - Bring water, as it's not offered and there may be a wait. The receptionist isn't super friendly - Make sure that they don't use your insurance allowance without your permission. Save yourself the headache and get your prescription before leaving - You're entitled to your medical information. They also charge a credit card fee.

To be honest, I was nervous when I didn’t see my regular gal (who I later found out moved away). But no fear needed. I was referred to Dr. Mansueto by some friends after my ophthalmologist from Hammond decided he no longer wanted to follow up with his surgery patients. (basically, dropped in the middle after surgery).However, now that I have established as a patient of Dr. Mansueto, I can happily say that this was the best result that could have occurred. Dr. Mansueto is not only professional, personable, and knowledgeable, but he is an excellent optometrist. He takes his time. Explains everything and gives off the feeling that he is your best friend. His office staff is very nice and accommodating as well.If you are looking for a local optometrist that you can put your full trust in, then look no further than Dr. Mansueto. Highly recommended!

Dr. Mansueto and his staff are very friendly and professional. They take great care to make patients feel at ease and answer any questions. The glasses frame I selected had to be ordered because the sample frame was not the size I needed. I was contacted promptly when it arrived, so that I could try it on to make sure it fit. Everything was handled in a reasonable amount of time and I am very satisfied with my new glasses.

I’ve been going to Dr Mansueto for years, he’s always been super kind and answered any questions I had without hesitation. He’s very good at his job and has always made me feel comfortable! 10/10 for sure!

Dr. Mansueto and his team are amazing, very professional. Had a situation in my eye and where able to see me the same day. He also recommended to another Dr to extract what I had in my eye. I was very pleased with the whole team!
