“Good prices. I've bought books, clothes, games, craft stuff, shoes from here. It's pretty clean, I do think most thrift stores have a smell though. I am not sure if they spray their clothes, but I got a horrible rash after wearing a shirt I bought from there and had washed/dried first. I threw the shirt away. I've bought many clothes from there, so I'm not sure why I got a rash from that shirt.”
“This is our favorite spot to get great deals on some amazing finds!! Always greeted at the door and extremely helpful! See ya guys again soon?ps...we always find the coolest stuff here!!☺️”
“I love shopping this store! Every time I have a chance to go there, I never leave empty-handed, there is something for everyone! 1 of my favorite places to be! I also love being able to make donations! It's so satisfying to know you are helping precious animals!”
“I love this place, very organized, friendly staff! They have a big variety of items! But I do wish they'd open the dressing room back up now that we're out of the pandemic”
“This was my first time here. I really like the selection of items that they have. It is quite large. You can find some pretty interesting and unique items here. They were also having a book sale while I was there. They had quite a lot of those as well. They were arranged by genre, which made it easier to find what you are interested in.”
“This has quickly become my favorite thrift store. I’m a homemaker and I love finding home items here at such a great price! It’s clean, organized and the staff is always so friendly to my children. My only critique is that I wish the store hours were a little better. Otherwise it’s a sweet place to visit and give a shot ?”
“HEARTS IN MOTION Resale Shoppe of Schererville, IN is conveniently located on Rt 41 South of Rt 30 (West). It was my first visit & stopped to look at formalwear for an impromptu event. The selection was ample and prices were 50% off that day. Unfortunately, I didn’t find what I was looking for but the store clerks were very helpful. The racks were stocked and organized making it easier to navigate the donations. The front of the store housed newer & vintage kitchen dishes, household appliances, linens, furniture and decor items. I thought the goblets and fancy glassware for champagnes were beautiful & some displayed up by the checkout counter. I didn’t leave with much on my trip but do plan on a return visit soon. HEARTS IN MOTION is affiliated with a charity & this makes it most valuable in my eyes. I recommend stopping the next time you are in the area. I am not affiliated with HEARTS IN MOTION Resale Shoppe.”
“I almost didn’t want to share this location because I’m scared all the vintage items will sell out! Ha ha ha I had things I’d been wanting to donate for a long time and randomly picked this location. I’m so glad I decided to shop because I found some amazing items here! I was so impressed at the selection of vintage furniture upon entering. In my opinion everything was greatly priced. The bottom of the store is dedicated mostly to bigger furniture pieces. The upstairs is where the clothes are. As well as smaller house items, toys and more! There were fitting rooms with mirrors and little benches. The clothes were priced at VERY affordable prices compared to other thrift stores like goodwill. Some areas were messy but it didn’t bother me at all. Especially considering that the workers are in recovery and the proceeds benefit them. It’s a non profit business and I was told the proceeds go toward the recovery of the people in the program as well as a men’s shelter. I’m all for the cause! The workers were so friendly as well and were excited for my finds too! I can’t wait to revisit and to add more vintage items to my home.”
“Nice furniture! Friendly staff. Pretty cool finds. I found and old school picnic basket that still in plastic. It came with plates, silverware, and cups. One of my favorite pieces. I recommended weekly visit stuff come & goes pretty fast but who doesn't love window shopping.”
“Visited here when I first moved into town. Furnished most of my home with things from here, which helps when you're on a budget. This place is definitely a gem! The staff is wonderful too!”
“Nice place. Has a nice variety of household items. Everything is of good quality. It's definitely a place that if you go and see something you like, you should get it as there is no guarantee it will be there later.”
“Wonderful! It exceeded expectations and we found so many exciting things! Definitely a one stop shop if you love vintage and rare finds! A comfortable feeling with the most friendly owners!”

“Love this location! Every time I come the employees are always friendly and the store is clean. Not too mention they are very reasonable priced compared to other locations and the quality is always amazing. Thanks!”
“People be sleeping on Goodwill. I typically only go in there for purses or ties because I like to have something that no one else is going to have. This particular time, I found a gorgeous painting and lamp shade. ☺️”
“Nice small shop where it appears you can rent small booths to sell your things. Not many treasures to be found, but prices are mostly fair. Depends on the vendor, though. The back room is increasingly becoming a place to sell expired snacks.”
“I drop in frequently...nice prices on awesome finds here!! I have even made donations...the staff unloaded items and asked if I needed a receipt, which I didn't. Have never had a bad experience...most pleasant and professional staff. I highly recommend this spot!! ??”
“The lady running the store is an angle she went out of her way to give me a deal. She was talking with customers the whole time and never stopped smiling. Please don’t believe that she is rude.”
“Great place to donate and shop. I've given bags away and feel good about donating. Recently I purchased a quality business bag for $8.50 and two name brand suit jackets for only $5 each!”
“They just the so much to chose from. If u like thrifting, this is the place, so have on some good walking shoes, cause you gonna be there a while. Prices are good too!”
“This is a great little resale shop. Volunteers are so sweet and helpful, lots of clothes shoes and jewelry. Some houseware and decor. There’s usually a sale and always a 50cent clothing rack. Cash only!”
“Best goodwill around, they don't raise their prices like other locations and have decent stuff sometimes. Other Goodwill's raised their prices like crazy for stuff but this one is reliable and employees are nice”
“Very large thrift store. Basic items are very cheap. Cpl bucks, sometimes less. Name brand items very fairly priced. Saw a cute Nike windbreaker for $14 impeccable. Large selection. Takes some time to find it all. I regularly shop here for myself and my son.”
“Staff was phenomenal, especially Jim! The store is very well organized and clean. Most prices are fair except clothes, which we find a bit high. (For example, a simple tee was $9. Leggings for $8. Paperback books .79c DVDs $2.) Overall we'd shop again!”
“Idk I get that people are complaining about the prices being high, but the clothes are in good shape for a thrift store. Also goodwill has always been known for being on the higher side of prices. Im on the younger side but I have found good clothes that fit my aesthetic here at this location.”
“Generally this is a decent Goodwill store but my daughter and I had a strange experience there once. We were in line and there was a random basket of stuff by the registers and my daughter pulls out a pair of flip flops that were on top. They were too big so she set them back down. The cashier said they needed to be put back where she got them. I said she did, they were right here in this basket of random stuff. The cashier said "no it's not random stuff!" And kept arguing with me and my daughter about the flip flops. It was really weird. Other than that, I usually find good things here.”
