First time there, on yesterday and I visited Pharmacy. At 14 weeks pregnant, I needed my prescriptions for obvious reasons. Nellie the customer rep couldn’t find my prescription, and she had an attitude and mumbled under her breathe the entire time. She is incompetent, and ignorant. Why is the customer at fault because you can’t operate the system? And instead of offering a solution, she simply said I can’t help you. It’s very simple, If you can’t do your job, quit. She concluded with “You need told call your doctor and ask them which Walgreens profile they used? When initially she stated it should be under my birthday.Then she bickered with the elderly lady behind and told her she wouldn’t service her because we both agreed she was being rude. At the end of the day, I need my medicine because I’m pregnant and Nellie did not help and had disdain in her voice the entire time. Management needs to replace her or get someone else who knows what they’re doing. Or at the very least, be polite, professional, and understanding.

Rude unprofessional employees!The cashier rang my items put them in the plastic bag and didn’t hand them to me lolI had to dam near go over the counter to get my bags! SmhSafe to say I won’t be coming back I’ll drive myself to another store!

Very unprofessional Staff in the Pharmacy. Will lie to you about certain insurance not covering certain Medications. Frequently calling about certain medications. They will simply hang up on you if they can't answer questions about your medications or insurance.

I usually go here for last minute items, but since our grocery store has been closed on our side of East Chicago, they have become the grocery store on our side of the railroad tracks,so it is very difficult to get what you need now. I'll always shop at Walgreens. The prices have gone up just a little, but they still have some good deals.

Waited in line for 5 minutes behind about 6 people for what seemed like the only worker in the store, got to the register. Said I needed help in the tech department and was told to get out of line and go push the customer service button. Someone finally came out from the back to help me at the tech department and then I had to go and stand back in line. Get more workers or have the people who do work there out on the floor

I went here with my Mom and she was buying a bottle of wine. The old woman checking us out said their policy says if a customer in group buys alcohol all members must be show ID. We did and made our purchase. Before and after that experience we've never both had to show ID at this location when buying alcohol.

I just checked out of Walgreens on Columbus Ave. in East Chicago.The cashier was unnecessary rude to me. It first started when the coffee was priced at $4.99 with a yellow tag, but rang up at $11.99. Come to find out, the sale expired, but sale price tag was still up. She told me. "Well, it's ringing up at $11.99." The other employee started to take tags down when I went myself to check and he told me to tell cashier that sale expired, but tags weren't taken down. She tells me, "That sale is expired." The manager told her to ring me at sale price after she argued about it not being on sale. She tried to place in $5.99. And I said," It is $4.99." The manager told her $4.99 because that is what it was priced at when I took the item. I then placed two peroxides on counter behind my toilet paper. She asked, " Did you put peroxide on counter?" I said," Yes." She rudely says,"You need to tell me because I already rang everything up." I didn't know she did because toilet paper was still on counter behind the price scanner. When I went to check sale price, I didn't know she was still scanning. I took my items and she doesn't say anything as "Thank you for shopping w us" "Have a good day". It was a bad experience today. The reason this got 4 stars is because of the manager and other coworkers.I hope this cashier gets trained properly. No one deserves to treated like a liar or in some battle over a darn sale price.
