âExtremely Disappointing Experience at CVS Edinburghâ
I visited the CVS in Edinburgh, Indiana, based on their posted hours on Google, only to find they had âmodified temporary hoursâ and werenât open. This caused a needless delay, and when I returned later, the experience worsened.
Despite being the only customer there, the pharmacist refused to ring up my greeting cards with my prescriptions, citing a lack of time. When I inquired about potential interactions between two creams (one of which turned out to be a pill), I was abruptly told to âcall my doctor.â This dismissive attitude is unacceptable, especially for someone without a primary care physician who relies on telehealth. The pharmacistâs response was essentially, ânot my problem.â
To top it off, when I tried to purchase insulin syringes for my stepfatherâsomething Iâve done at other CVS locations without issueâI was flatly denied and told a prescription was required. This contradicts my prior experiences and demonstrates a severe lack of consistency and customer care.
Overall, the dismissive, unprofessional behavior of the pharmacy staff turned a simple visit into a frustrating ordeal. I hope CVS addresses these operational and customer service issues promptly.
FYI- when I returned home. I purchased insulin syringes through Amazon no questions needed. Called the CVS in trafalgar and they told me they would sell them to me. No prescription needed. Hmmmm apparently the pharmacy Manager just wanted to be rude!!!

The lady up front was very timely in helping me unlock an item that was security boxed, but scoffed at me after trying to take my cash and pay for me when I said no thank you, I could do it

3 workers in pharmacy Whenwe walked up they said we will be right with you. It was 10 minutes before one of them stopped their work to wait on us at that point 4 others were waiting You would think that that one person's job would be to wait on customers

Delainey is extremely rude yelling at people across the store especially people in uniform. Also yelling at other coworkers.

If you have been calling the pharmacy since 9:30 and can't get the call to go through its because they are closed. Yep, no one shows up to work, no one gets prescriptions. You'll only know if you drive there. 100% frustration. We have changed to a mail order company. This one was an emergency prescription. Do not rely on this company, CVS. They are horrid. Keep your football field size receipts. I would rather run down the hall with scissors pointy side up than walk into this store.

I donât know if itâs just their personality or maybe Iâm being judged off my appearance, but the pharmacy staff could definitely work on their customer service. I feel like they are extremely judgmental/act like youâre bothering them if you ask about something. If youâre needing to get a prescription filled I recommend cvs on National road. Try and avoid the Edinburgh pharmacy if possible

There pharmacy is much better now! They have more workers and are not shortening their days as much as they had been when they were short handed.
