This place is a scam. Do NOT get a membership here. They will continue to charge you even after you you cancel your account. And then they will claim that you never canceled it. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy! Also the manager is very rude, and unprofessional.

SOME GUY VIDEOTAPING PEOPLE IN LOCKER ROOM AND SECURITY DID NOTHING! Do not bring kids here or anyone for that matter. They overcharge you and then don't allow you to access most of the facility. Had charges to my bank account and had to take it to a legal level with these folks. Heather is a decietful manager with a horrible attitude. She is the head manager there but I hope somebody of her higher-ups sees this and replaces her swiftly...... This is out of control

Nice place inside sadly management and staff lack training and do not seem to care about their job or the people they do not know the correct policy or rules at Heather The manager on that shift gives her staff false information to tell people paying for the membership overall staff needs to be trained better and or to hire better management for this job.

Really poor management. Despicable interaction everytime we conversed. Heather specifically was very unprofessional and hostile.

Why are the pools monopolized by the swim lessons? I'm a paying member and can only use the pools on the weekend.

The building looks great from the outside but the staff are rude and act like assisting patients with the highly confusing referral scheduling process is a major inconvenience. I can't yet rate the facilities because scheduling my referral has been impossible even with the numerous phone calls between OSMC, Beacon/OSMC Aquatic and my providers office. For starters, when someone calls requiring about a referral, look up the callers DEMOGRAPHICS rather than creating a speculative argument about whether the caller has the right location or a valid referral. That will save a lot of time and frustration! If you can afford a membership, you'll likely have a fantastic experience here.

So, just like people have said it’s too small for the amount of people that go there if you like to lift weights, good luck trying to get in. I’ve tried to go in three times on a trial basis at different times during the day, and it’s always packed and I haven’t been able to use one piece of equipment or weights because there’s to many people in there and such a small selection of machines and free weights so unless you go there super early in the morning you’re probably not gonna get to do the work out you want to do they need to expand their free weights and machine areas

Have been in many fitness facilities, and this is superior! Very clean and great variety of classes and water therapy available.

If you intend to actually work out and be able to use the weightlifting equipment, don't even bother going past 5pm during the week. There is simply not enough weightlifting equipment to support the number of people that use the facility, and it is abundantly clear that management caters almost exclusively to the demographic that only seeks to use the cardio equipment (there are ALWAYS elipticals, treadmills, etc. available). For the comparatively high cost of a Beacon Health and Fitness membership, this is unacceptable. To their credit, the facility is always kept clean (which Eastlake Athletic Club certainly can't say), but the lack of sufficient weightlifting equipment completely ruins the experience nonetheless.

A great place to come and workout and swim! Olivia & the child care staff are always so friendly and great with my kids. It’s nice to have a break and know they are taken care of!We started swim lessons for our 3yo and he didn’t do great in the group setting. Stephanie took him aside and worked with him one on one to get him comfortable and make swimming fun! We have seen a ton of progress and he looks forward to classes every week! I’m glad we have this in our community!I would love to see more available parking or parking designated for members - maybe even swipe access? Parking is completely packed during swim meet days and the extended parking lot is covered in goose p**** It’s not safe walking through the dark parking lot with toddler and baby in tow, dodging cars and p*** because member parking is filled with high school kids.

Love the place. Great vibes. Clean. I only wish they had ceiling fans.

Great Team, Great Child-Care area, great amenities and cleanliness. Overall, I am very satisfied with this health club. The only thing missing is a sauna. If they had a sauna, it would be an elite health club.

Was told this gym would be 24/7 and never once has. They force masks on everyone even while exercising which obviously is not healthy. Would be the best gym around if not for these issues. I recommend Eastlake athletic club for 24/7 access and absolute 0 harassment from staff.

There are children in the therapy pool kissing and touching as if at a Resort. They live in there for hours. There is no supervision or support from the staff to be sure everyone has an enjoyable experience. I'm in therapy and cannot get into the pool. Mothers are allowing children under 13yrs to swim and splash in the therapy pool. ONLY THE ELKHART LOCATION is bad. The staff there are not watchful. In the beginning it was good. After COVID 19 when they reopened we noticed the change. If you are looking to deal with pain. Elkhart location may not be for you. I'm concerned some of us may need to choose another place if you cannot go to Granger or South Bend

A group of pickleball people play pickleball at beacon everyday and we play in the large community center and we are giving a review because the air conditioning is not on and we are all elderly and the floor gets slippery and it's a safety issue also but we need the air conditioning on and a comfortable place for us to play.
