One of my favorite Saturday morning adventures. Birds Gotta Fly have the absolute friendliest owners and staff, people who clearly enjoy what they do and where they work. Unique finds every time you visit with a mix of old and new items. Treat yourself and visit this beautifully restored old factory, enjoy coffee or a treat in their in-house cafe, shop clothing or items for your home.

Love it here. I always leave with something unique to add to my home decor. The staff is amazing and very helpful when I’ve needed guidance on what to do with pieces. Great place to find that one of a kind!

This place is a treasure. I visit antique shops, gift stores and art galleries around the country when I travel, and this one has to be in the top 3. This is more than just shopping, it's an experience. We tend to avoid the big holiday open houses and visit just after so the crowds are smaller. If you haven't been you really need to visit.

I always enjoy my visits to Bird's Gotta Fly. It's a very unique establishment and a jewel in the midst of Elkhart. The staff is always smiling, genuine and eager to interact with customers. It's a great place to socialize and it's filled with treasures to peruse and explore. The business is always evolving, making each experience within their doors memorable and cherished.

"Mid-century modern meets Christmas" , there are some antique gems through-out the store but watch out for reproductions. Reproductions are not bad but don't overpay for them.

Sincere suggestion: Please provide signage for small businesses that are located within an existing business, or be ready to direct people who look lost. There are those of us that want to support small businesses, especially in the current economy. Making the experience pleasant, or at least not anxiety-provoking, should be a goal. It’s a win-win, the small business actually gets *business*, and the existing business is viewed favorably by a potential customer. I’m offering this feedback, and trying to be understanding, in spite of fact that I felt that the whole experience was awkward and off-putting.I stopped in to visit Forever Holland Plant Co. for the first time(I’ll review that portion, too). I thought that perhaps I had the wrong building because there wasn’t a sign to direct me. So, I looked around at the beautiful furniture and decor. The staging of the pieces was imaginative and fresh. I may have been inclined to make a purchase, but the whole vibe was weird with the staff. Nobody asked if I was looking for anything, I’m pretty sure I was “tailed” by two employees.I was feeling pretty anxious and almost left, but I decided to try the upstairs to see in a last ditch attempt. There wasn’t anything that indicated that I’d made the correct choice, but upon walking upstairs and then pushing open a door, I found the Forever Holland Plant Co.The plants were very well-cared for, and the prices were comparable to the Midwest market. There were several hard-to-find plants.I’m hoping to try again at some point. There’s a nice coffee shop, the restrooms are lovely, and the decor is fantastic.

Love shopping here; getting decorating ideas, having a snack, and dreaming. Staff is super friendly! Mark showed me how to disassemble an old oversized teachers desk so it could be moved down stairs.

This is an old factory turned into a space for shops, and a cafe. Food is good and so is the coffee. Prices are a little higher than the local market. Can roam around various shops, adding to the experiences. The design is modern. There is something to see no matter where you look.
