While I was already unimpressed with his work, recent revelations about his personal life make it even worse. First off, his skills as a stylist are subpar—he barely listens, and seems more focused on himself than his clients.
But beyond his lack of professionalism, it turns out he’s also lacking in integrity. Finding out he cheated on his wife just solidifies what I already sensed—he has no regard for others. If he can’t even respect his own family, why would he respect his clients? Take your business elsewhere to someone who actually values honesty and professionalism.
Would not recommend.

I started going to Josh about a year & a half ago. He explained the entire process of a dry cut & why it was so much better for my hair. He is extremely passionate about what he does & it is apparent in his work as he is meticulous about each client. On a side note, he is so friendly & so kind & will make each client feel welcome & comfortable. He will quickly turn from being your stylist to your friend. I cannot say enough good things about him as well as Les! They are soooo good at what they do! Thank you for giving me the hair of my dreams!

My hair is naturally coily/curly, with a few odd layers that don't curl evenly. The curls at the top are the tightest, with a "dead spot" on my left side towards the back. Josh is able to take all of these mismatched, asymmetrical curl patterns and make it look cohesive and voluminous. It's pretty amazing. I had stopped going to salons for over five years because I kept running into people who said they could cut curly hair but couldn't. So, I cut my own hair and managed all right. I'm glad I took a chance with Josh though - he knows what he's doing. He goes above and beyond to help you get the look you're going for, but will give honest feedback if you're considering something that you'll probably hate after a day or two.
A couple of insights for first timers:
- He'll do a dry cut, and your hair will feel a little stressed afterwards. It's okay, it's part of the overall cut. You'll be back to normal in no time!
- I just get a cut when I go, with no additional styling. I don't mind a little frizz when I leave - I just wash and style at home.
- He's been doing this for over 20 years, so he's got a lot of experience.
- On a personal note: I'm not really the chatty salon girl type, so I dread that part of the experience, but Josh is genuinely easy-going and fun to chat with. I have literally never said that about a hair stylist. Haha.

Hair type: I have very fine hair and acolic which Josh managed to skillfully fix.

Can’t say he’s bad or anything. But I called 3 times and the line was busy. I went to the location and the doors were locked and nobody answered. Being dependable is as important as being skilled
