Dropped off an alternator. Told Dan of my suspicions. Got a call 4 days later that
It was finished. For what he did and what he charged I was blown away. Do not go buy a new alternator/starter without calling and talking to Dan first.

I took my 53 year old starter to Dan's for a rebuild because it would spin and not engage about 5% of the time. The rebuild was quick and the price was fair. Works great now 100% of the time. Thanks!

Dan is Amazing! He rebuilt the alternator for my Catalina 28 sailboat. He was fast and extremely reasonable with pricing. He also helped me find a compatible new unit when the original manufacturer tried to sell me one for 10x the cost.
