“I go to dollar general a lot! Right around the corner from my house. Love it! Today though I sent my granddaughter and two of her friends down. Told them to look around I’d be there after I got dressed. Took me longer then expected. Just leaving when the girls came back. They were thrown out of the store because they were only looking around. Had no money. They didn’t argue with the person. Just left. Then the lady told me we’d talk about it later. Wow. Judging kids sad. Come to find out she’s a teacher at Concord. Wow”
“Yes I stopped by to get a box of kleenex and found a little treasure I found some real good movies blue ray and regular one real good buy for a $1 and I bought that for a $1”
“I decided to check out this place because it was big and I love all things dollar tree. The selections were definitely in surplus, but there were boxes all over and some were open and some were closed. I think they were stocking the shelves, but it was very messy and cluttered. The store itself was very clean and all of the employees I interacted with were very nice and helpful. Not a lot of items had prices on them and I didn't know if they were $1.25, $1.50, $1.75 or higher. All dollar tree stores have been bringing in their bigger and better items that are priced $3 and up, so when things aren't marked that doesn't mean everything is $1.25.”

“Clean but the cashier was mud. Didn't greet or try to up sell. Didn't say anything else not even the total. Just scanned my items and handed me my receipt. Maybe its because he is old”
“I did love it however the new manager that took over a few months ago does not know how to keep up a store or help you find anything place is a disaster all the time cards full of boxes that need to be put away on the Shelf trash on the floor dangerous for people to go into and you never can find what you need is not due to covid-19 it's due to not taking my time and putting it away on the Shelf I've heard different conversations through workers about the store some have to be up at the register and the same ones have to be putting it on the Shelf but nine times out of 10 they're in the breakroom just sitting down a lot of times they hoard stuff in piles that they're going to buy it and tell you that it's not for sale and then you watch them purchase it also seemed people going out to the dumpster if I pass by certain times of the night that our workers that put items in the trash pull them out and take them home and my car we used to love to shop there what's the time we will go to the other one down the road from the store they're much nicer and so is the store when we only live one minute away from this location it's a disaster the rest of your stores are courteous kind and clean thank you for serving the community”
“The store on N Cassopolis has been renovated and will have fresh produce beginning next weekend. Even though things were a bit messy, I was in on Saturday night, it still looked better than it had in the past.”
“My daughter was trying to buy a toy with her tooth fairy money, but she came up 2 dollars short. The angel checking is out went into her own purse and paid the difference. She didn't know that my daughter is autistic, and didn't matter that we are a different skin color, all she cared about was the happiness of a child. I offered to reimburse her, but she asked me to pay it forward. I don't know why they say grown men don't cry, and this is the least I could do to tell the tale.”
“Stumbled upon this Dollar General and glad I did. Was very clean and organized. Had exactly what I was looking for in stock. The staff was very friendly and made you feel welcomed. May have to go out of my way to this store.”
“Very nice and pleasant ladies (Didn't see no men) and helpful with what I needed. Had to do a refund and it was pretty quick, but also had my receipt so was able to get my money back. A little busier today then I have seen but all went quick through the line and everyone seemed to be patient and not all stir crazy. Store was quite a mess and hard to get through the isle at times but im sure it's due to lack of employees and or people wanting a job to make an honest living for themselves. Everyone seems to have gotten far more stimulus money then me and living very comfortably as it would appear seems so many are out of work and unemployed when damn near everyone is hiring..Thanks Ladies for your help and keep up the positivity energy.”
“The best prices on pop that rotates through every brand. Easy to zip in and out. You don't have to worry about what you look like. To those who say they never worry, you're a lair. The staff is always friendly and helpful especially considering working at one of these stores must be the worst because of the clientele, sometimes, want more than they deserve plus thieves abound in these stores. Are they pristine? Of course not, why would they be? If you want pristine go to Martins and pay triple if not more for your products then but do me a favor, don't complain about a store that does the most for the lower end of the socioeconomic scale...Just take your highfalutin attitude somewhere else and stop reporting the stores we need.”
“Does Dollar General always has what we need is very kind of nice in a clean store always treat people with respect even though that we live within a minute away from our Dollar General we always go to this one for the most part because we know that will be treated right and left the Clean safe store to walk into the other one on Nappanee Street is very nasty the people are nasty and not a very kind place to walk into a store is a mess so thank you so much for all that you guys do you keep the store amazing looking good and have such kind of you guys go above and beyond thank you so much again for all your kind words the store is amazing and we're grateful to have you have a blessed weekend thank you”

“The decorations are so fun and inexpensive. I can always find the little bottles of dish soap. I use them outside for pest control and bug control.
Great to buy the boxed candies as well.”
