The front desk was great. Brittnay and Octavia were wonderful, helpful and very courteous. The hotel was very clean and relaxing. I did have one complaint. The hot tube did not work that well in the room. Very disappointed in that because that is why I got that room. But the front desk and maids A1!!!!!Rooms: The jets in the hot tube did not work well.

Tried to stay here last night. Got checked in, went up to my room, and the entire hotel inexplicably had no water. Not sure if they forgot to pay their bill or what, because the Four Points across the street was fine. I also thought it was interesting that the pool had a sign that said "pool closed for the weekend, sorry" but this was on a Tuesday evening.

I believe the staff should be more informative to incoming guest if they are not reward members. When my husband and I went down the next morning for breakfast. We were told we did not qualify for breakfast. No continental breakfast was offered or even the location of items on a continental breakfast other than cookies and several pieces of fruit. We ended going to a restaurant for breakfast.Rooms: Our accommodations were satisfactory. I know this might sound petty, but the location of the toilet paper is a distance away from the toilet. I can see Having mobility problems for some people.Food & drinks: We opted to order something from the menu at the bar. But they were out of a lot of items and ended up with something. We did not particularly want, but ordered because we did not want to leave the property. I felt sorry for the bartender in the evening because he was running out a lot of things to make drinks. I felt by having 2 groups on the property There should have been plenty in stock.

The staff here have been very helpful, the rooms are well appointed but could use a little maintenance (my thermostat did not work well), and the location is very central. Generally the best price for this type of hotel.

This is a great place to stay. The management and staff are excellent. You are well taken care of here. The breakfast was very good and much classier than stale bagels and a waffle maker mess ?The rooms could probably use a tad more maintenance attention but are very clean.I will definitely stay here again.

I appreciated the digital key as an HHonors member and being able to go straight to my room after a long drive. The bed was comfortable, AC worked great and the hdr TV was fantastic. Their pantry/market prices were fair for the convenience and they had fresh sandwiches/salads avail for purchase. The hotel is pet friendly and the grounds were kept up well with plenty of grass. I felt very safe during my stay here. Sadly, there were several things I encountered that would cause me to consider staying at other properties in the future. Room 317, immediately upon entering there was a smoky/mildew smell. The room looked a bit dated, so maybe it was the carpet. The tap water from the bathroom sink was cloudy and two of the washcloths had yellow stains. The hotel also had a guest laundry room with 1 washer/dryer. After washing a load of laundry and transferring to the dryer I realized the coin slot was jammed for the dryer and would not accept quarters and turn on at all so now I’m stuck with damp clothes. You would think there would be a sign or some indication their dryer is out of order. The day prior to check out I called the front desk and requested a 1:30pm checkout, I was put on a brief hold and then told it would be $79 for a late checkout. I mentioned my diamond status and was then told it would be waived. The following day I received a call at 12:30pm telling me checkout was at noon. I reminded her that I just spoke to someone the day before and they told me I could have a 1:30pm checkout and she told me the latest they offer is 1pm and anything later is a charge. Again I had to remind her of my diamond status. I checked out at 1:09pm without any apologies from the front desk about the miscommunication.

My husband and I stayed the night here for a getaway from the kids. Very nice hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, had everything you need. The staff at the Front Desk were incredibly pleasant for both check in and check out and made us feel right at home.I really wish I could remember the bartender's name. We stopped to have a drink at the bar and he was such and engaging and knowledgeable bartender. He made an excellent Old Fashioned too. We ended up going out to dinner later and feeling like we should have stayed and had dinner at the hotel instead just because we were having so much fun there. Next time we run away from our children we will definitely stay here again.

We called ahead of time before booking to confirm that the hotel had a crib (we have a 4 month old baby). They said they did, so we didn’t think there would be any issues. We arrived around midnight because of some travel delays, checked in with no issues, and got up to our room. The room itself was mostly clean (there was definitely some dirt on the floor but nothing crazy). However, the real problem began when we opened up the pack and play crib. It was covered in feces and vomit stains. I’ve never seen anything so disgusting in a hotel. It was completely unsafe for anyone to handle, let alone a baby to sleep in. I don’t know how it managed to stay in circulation so long. We called the front desk and requested a new crib, and after about 30-45 min of waiting and trying to figure out what we were going to do, we were informed that there are no extra cribs in the hotel, and there are no cribs at any of the sister properties in the local area. I don’t blame the receptionist - she did everything she could in a timely manner. At this point there were no open wal marts or other stores to buy a pack and play, so we called around to a bunch of hotels and eventually went to the holiday inn across the street where we finally found a crib that was safe and clean for our baby. Because of this disaster, I, my wife, our 4 month baby and our 3 year old son did not actually get to bed until about 3 am after a full day of travel delays and complications. This was probably the worst experience I’ve ever had in a hotel.Safety: Crib was filthy and completely unsafe for our baby.

I am a Diamond member, loyal to the Hilton brand for many years. I have stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Elkhart at least 10 times this year. Great staff, location, I overlook the need for a remodel. I calmly informed the front desk about the bug problem yesterday morning and was told I'd hear back from the manager. Unfortunately, I still have not. Room 310 I woke up to this, an infestation of ants crawling on my bed and arm from the night stand. Gross!!! To be clear, I travel for work and have stayed at hundreds of Hilton properties for the past 12 years and have NEVER had something like this happen. I guess I'll have to call Hilton corporate to make it right. Pondering if I should call the Health Department too. Not sure if they'll do anything, but it's concerning this was on the third floor...where else is there a bug problem/infestation in this building?

We had our 40 ft RV and they had no problem accommodating us. The people that work there are professi. onal and caring. We would not hesitate to return there. The rooms were clean and good size. ?

The room was dirty, with dead bugs on the floors. Th carpet was visibly dirty, so we didn’t remove our shoes. The whirlpool had mold all over the sides and the jets. It was incredibly disappointing for the Hilton brand to have a facility this unclean. We left after sleeping only a few hours to nap in our car.

The room was OKBut breakfast serving was bad.It was busy saturday morning. The serving lady gave the last table to the couple behind me. And asked sit on the sofa or bar. She served the third guy behind me before me. She got an order, but she never delivered the silverware I have to pick up a plastic fork and knife. My eggs were served after cooldown. It was the worst breakfast with hilton.AddedAdded: When I checked out, I informed the staff I had breakfast. So she visited the kitchen , picked up all the receipts, and updated my final bill. And made fully paid.In the afternoon, when I review the bills during my travel. I found Hilton Garden Inn was revised my bill and bouble charged the that trouble some breakfast. I think the hotel did it intentionally!!! $2 error is not important, I wasted over an hour to correct the issue.I had been enjoyed Hilton Garden Inn breakfast. It was Saturday morning on the way back to home.I intentionally select the Hilton Garden Inn to enjoy the usual nice breakfast!!!But it becomes nitemare!!!Food & drinks: Food serving badNot first comes first serve.Food was cooled when served. No silverware delivered. My eggs plate was dropped 2 feet away from me.I wrote part of my complaints on the receipt and left. I only gave her $1 tip.

Flawless stay. Clean, well maintained, professional staff, all amenities operating well and zero complaints. There is even a bar in the lobby and even though we arrived too late to sample it, we were appreciative of its presence. An oasis on the road.
