The people that work at this particular H&R block are very friendly and professional, good vibe. H&R block at a company does nothing but take advantage of people in some of the worst times in this country. I don't have the $159.00 to pay for the tax prep take it out of my $500.00 return.. H&R BLOCK takes 39 more dollars to do that. No H&R Block doesn't care about you or your taxes. They just want to suck as much money as they can out of people. How many people do you think can pay for their taxes up front. H&R block make 39 bucks every time someone struggling walks in the door.

*I will consider revising my review if/when manager fulfills promise to investigate and follow up.Filed my 2021 taxes March 2022. To this day I am still waiting on my refund due to tax "expert's" numerous errors triggering an identity flag that took the help of a congressman to resolve. I reached out to H&R Block several times for assistance over this period and was met with apathy each time, one even going as far as to tell me to "pay extra to Turbo Tax". They had no problem collecting my fees in a timely manner, including their "Peace of Mind" package which has proven to be anything but. They don't answer the phone, don't respond voicemails - you'll need to go into the office to be shrugged off.
