Do not recommend. their lack of knowledge and caring caused the death of my pet. Dr. Ellis has ice in her veins. don't trust them with your fur baby. It's all about the bottom line. After all these years, they made us pay up front to euthanize our pet. No sorry, no sympathies, received a stamped card after, not signed just preprinted. How cold.

If I could give them a negative number review I would. We have been customers there for 13 years. We have 3 dogs and 6 cats. All our pets are seen yearly and updates to shots are always taken care of. If ill they are at the vet. The past 2 years they have steadily went downhill. Dr Rogers is an arrogant non caring vet who should not be in charge of anything. Two of our cats had medical issues that required (according to them) a shot monthly to make them feel better. We had been asking for lab work for about 6 months with the answer being they don't need it. The last straw came a couple months ago when we had our monthly visit and we specifically asked for a vet not a technician. I demanded a vet as I wanted lab work done and some answers as the shots were not working and the two cats were not getting any better. After waiting a few minutes I decided to call another vert clinic in Middlebury. They got me in that afternoon. I had ACCN give me a copy of there records and headed out. I was pleasantly surprised when the vet aid they should do labs as it looked like they hadn't had them for a bit. After lab work and x-rays it was found cat 1 had an enlarged heart and his lungs where full of fluid. It was going to be touch and go, after an injection to remove the fluid and a prescription for the heart I can say after 3 weeks cat 1 is doing great, eating again and not having drainage out the nose plus taking a daily medication for thyroid. Something I continuously argued with ACCN. Cat 2 labs showed an inflamed intestinal disease which caused a buildup and again weight loss to the point cat 2 looked like he never ate, even though he ate more than any. It was found the proteins in the food were causing intestinal stress. They recommended trying a different protein food that was primarily rabbit, duck and venison. I am happy to say that after 6 weeks cat 2 has gained 3 lbs. and now is a whopping 8 pounds. The poor cat suffered for over 1.5 years because of poor vet care. It has now been almost 2 months and both cats are happy and healthy and know longer receiving a shot that did absolutely nothing for 1.5 years. After going back in time I am sure we lost a cat because of there poor care 3 years ago. Dr Rogers I hope you read this. The care was so bad I am in the process of filing reports and records with the vet board and truly hope they address the issues. I have spoken with past staff and patients and find I am not the only one that thinks they are mismanaged and poorly run. And to be clear I am not a vet, but a RN for 25 years, and have a pretty good understanding of medical issues as they do mirror people in many instances. Then to top it off I receive a poorly communicated letter from Dr Rogers stating they can know longer see our crew as I am the bad guy for calling them out. Understand I would never set foot in your clinic again as your lack of professionalism and arrogant attitude is intolerable along with the poor care you deliver.

Dr. Ellis is a very knowledgeable and caring vet. All three of my dogs see her and they love her.

this used to be my favorite vet, I called about an emergency appointment for my boy who started peeing blood: The guy who took the call could not say "we have no openings" He rambled on for at least five minutes about me calling them every morning at 7:30am to see if there's been a cancellation and I might be able to get him in some day. So I called Dr. Weldy and they said when a male cat starts having blood in his pee it's very serious and I need to get him seen TONIGHT!!! and they told me about the emergency vet clinic in Mishawaka. That took two minutes. Animal Care Clinic North needs a better communicator answering the phones, stop worrying about my feelings and just tell me the freakin facts: "I'm sorry we currently have no openings until November" That's all he had to say. I really like one of their Veteranarians but I am not liking the direction the business has taken seems like the last year or two . . . Get a better communicator and preferably one with some animal health experience, everyone in their right mind knows an unfixed male cat peeing blood is a critical situation, don't tie me up with a five minute word salad designed to hint at the answer you should just speak outright from the start . . .

I'm fully vaccinated; however, If you don't carry masks in your car - be warned. They will not see your pet with out the owner wearing a mask. They don't include that info in the many appt. reminders they send - text, email, call. Note to ACCN: If you're going to extend mask mandate in your business a month after the State ended the mandate - ALERT your customers BEFORE they drive there. Pet medical Records - they got hacked about a year or two ago and it was forever before they could take new clients or retrieve ANY prior info about your pet. Like for months and months that went on. Chaotic, sometimes hostile environment. They seem to forget that pet owners are how they get paid.

I tried several veterinarians for my dog to get the right one. Out of all of them I tried the animal care clinic was the best one. The people there was overwhelmingly nice, kind and caring. They were a little bit more expensive than the other veterinarians I went to but it was well worth it they were so kind and caring about my dog that I will always use them as my veterinarian from that time forward. I would recommend this Veterinarian to everyone and I don't recommend things lightly.

I Would have only given them one star had my prior experiences been like today's. I am taking into consideration that they are requiring all customers to wear masks and stay in their vehicles due to Corona Virus. The bad experience started right at the moment of our scheduled appointment. Walking up to the door without being told prior to arriving, that we were to call and stay in vehicle. The lady that came to the door was very impatient and came off a little rude acting ad if we have done this before and should've known the drill. So we returned to our car and proceeded to make the call. We waited 30 minutes past out scheduled appointment and decided to call and see what the hold up was. The lady at the front desk said we were next up and that they had a few emergencies. After waiting another 12 minutes they finally came to Door and call out pets names' to then tell us we needed a second cat carrier for our cat that does not like them. This wouldn't have been such an issue if once again we weren't briefed on this policy, the lady at the door made us wait outside even though we she were wearing our masks and told us she would have to charge us for the carrier. Then my son had to use the restroom after waiting 40+ minutes after arrival, so we went across the street to the gas station and the Animal Clinic Parking Lot pet Police called our number immediately after leaving asking us if we left the property. I couldn't believe it. I explained my son needed to use the restroom due TO The excessive wait time. I also explained we would return within one minute. One minute later we returned, to Then have to wait another ten for the vet call and ask what was going on with our pets. I have to say I was very disappointed in the service and lack of communication I received today. We were not the only customer that weren't briefed/communicated on these newly implemented policies. One positive note after explaining their short comings on communication about new policies they did agree to give us the cardboard carrier free of charge. Heads up the piece of cut cardboard runs you $12.33.

Totally incompetent. They let my pitbull suffer for six months and$700 dollars in their pocket. Took her to Dr. Kryder in Granger. Took them ten minutes to diagnose ring worm with a blacklight no less $26 dollars for the medicated dip to eliminate them.$60 for a first time appointment, lower then ACCN office visit. They (kryder) really couldn't believe that they couldn't get the dx right.

My husband and I love the care our dogs have received from the vets and techs at Animal Care Clinic North. For instance, when our dog former Cody was very old and had suffered from many seizures and other issues, we made the tough decision to help him have a peaceful end of life. The staff was extremely compassionate and helped us have a quiet, private time with him as he passed on. Now we have two young rescued dogs who benefit from their gentle care and are quick to recommend natural remedies when appropriate instead of medications, etc. They are patient with our pups, and with me, and listen to my concerns and answer my many questions. (I also like the fact that cats enter the office on a separate side from the dogs' area so my pups don't react with their usual craziness.) I highly recommend you give them a try.

I really did not want the experience I had with this clinic to come to an awful yelp review but here I am. My family pet was taken in to be euthanized. During the process the RVT in the room said "he probably has Congestive heart failure, his chest is full of fluid." Whether this was the case or not, an RVT cannot legally say that. That is a diagnosis. I called the clinic to address my concerns. The practice manager was not in that day so they took my info and said she would be calling me back. I had not heard from anyone in a week so I called again, same thing happened. I was told I would be getting a call the next day. Again, no call. So I called again, they took my information for the 3rd time and said I would get a call. Finally the practice manger called me back and started with a handful of excuses on why she hadn't called me back instead of just apologizing. I went through what had happened and she was CONSTANTLY interrupting me. I could not get three words in before she would talk over me. She was just defending the RVT by saying she was probably saying it for comfort not as a diagnosis. It doesn't matter in what context she was speaking, it's still not legal for her to say this. Honestly, all I wanted was the clinic to be aware of the situation so they can address it with the RVT. I was not trying to get anything out of this. But she was defensive and full of excuses. And considering this was regarding an euthanasia, you'd think she would be a little more sympathetic.
