My first time doing any business with Lochmandy because the local Honda dealer body shop ruin my car with the last insurance claim repair that I'll never take my vehicle back for any repair work. Giving them a try, since they work with my insurance company. No verdict yet.

I have had a few vehicles repaired here and they always do an exceptional job. I can never see where the repair is done. Recently I had them fix my insurance claim on my Dodge Ram. It was a very big job and they were as professional as one could get. Highly recommend and I will use them again for sure. I brought my car in months ago for a paint chip and a few minor scratches. After going over the car for a period of time, I was told it left the factory with a paint chip. They took pictures and submitted them. I was told in order to correctly fix it, the door would have to be removed and taken apart to paint it. I was told this would take days, so I opted to wait until spring to get the work completed. They charged insurance (the dealership) $986 even though that would be covered under warranty. So I bring the car in for my scheduled appointment, and I was called the same afternoon to be told the car is ready. I asked if she was sure, because I was told it would take days, and it had only been a matter of hours. I go pick up the car, and ask how long I would have to wait to wash it so I don't ruin the paint job, to be told there was no painting done. I go out to look at the car, and the paint chip is still there. I went back in and told her I brought the car in for a paint chip and it is still there. A technician came out and said it isn't a paint chip, it's only clear coat and we did overlook fixing it, but they can have it buffed out that very evening. If you look at the original work order, it clearly states it is a chip that was covered with clear coat, and cannot be sanded down, or touched up with polish. I was then called the next day being told it was ready. I was given a receipt with the charges totaling $203. I understandably was irate. I honestly believe they touched up the chip to cover their mistake, but only time will tell. I definitely feel I was scammed. And I find it ironic the receipt states filing a fraudulent claim is committing a felony. I was either lied to when I first brought the car in, or I was lied to when I actually brought it in to complete the work. Bottom line is, I will never deal with this company again. Scammers, fraud, and incompetent employees are exactly what I dealt with. No thank you.Service: Painting
