Where do I begin… When I first became a member the person setting up my account made me feel extremely belittled because of my age. Once I got out of the branch I called to change my accounts to what I actually wanted… because you can’t do that on the app. The call center expected a hand written note after they asked me 5 questions to verify my identity. I went into the branch to order checks and I was told they didn’t know how (later received the checks and a $39. charge to my account). Mobile app wouldn’t let me add shares or transfer $1,000 to an external account. When I went in to close my membership they suddenly seem to care about convenience and service. It took two staff members to hear my complaints. Profusely apologetic, but I will not be returning.

Have been with TCU 50 plus years. Using online banking without problems Since it changed to Everwise the application doesn't boot up 75 precent of the timeI see there internet site has poor ratingsVery frustrating!!

Always fabulous personal service! In the days of "push 1 for this, and 2 for that" TCU is human beings serving human beings. Love it!

Do not ever use Wells Fargo or Teachers Credit Union (TCU)! I paid off a loan from Wells Fargo Bank through TCU Teachers CreditUnion in February Derick Stevens sent my payment to the wrong address! Then They sent another check to the wrong address, then the 3rd check went to the right address and was signed for by a Wells Fargo representative with initials CT! I am being forced to pay both loans even though TCU has not transferred any money! Both banks are screwing me and threatening me!! Forcing me to pay both loans and refusing to void the check and pay it electronically! Neither bank is coming up with a solution and has denied every simple solution I have suggested! Completely useless banks!!

I've been a member for years. Today I was very perturbed. Went in to get a letter stating I have an and the numbers. Even with the email that was sent to .e stating what they needed on it they couldn't do it. Gave me a prewritten statement that was for employer depositing. Had to go back because it wouldn't work and that's when they said they're not allowed by law to write out any kind of statement like what I needed. Finally got it.taken care of, but what a hassle.Update: Forgot to update that I had to go back in again for the same issue but this time I didn't have as much trouble. Apparently it's not illegal for them to write anything out, it's just not done much due to liability issues. Once explained by the manager I understood. He did help me out with what I needed and was pleased when I left.

Recently took out a home equity loan and the process was mostly painless. There were a few individuals who dropped the ball along the way, but Jessica came to our rescue just in the nick of time. Throughout, she has picked up the slack where others have failed and for that I wanted to give her a huge shout of praise! Well done Jessica!! You deserve a raise and a promotion. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Just want to share our experience with Teachers Credit Union. We have had a home equity loan with them and will be paying off and closing that next week because we have sold our home here. Well, our payment is due on the 25th — closing is March 31. Numbers are run, mortgage set, closing approved, so we asked if we should make the payment or not. Our new lender said we should check with TCU but that it could mess up the numbers for closing. So Tom called. They will count us late (I bet they’ll even report it to the credit bureaus, how nice) and charge us a $25 late fee! TCU used to be such a nice, friendly hometown bank...

My 18 y/o daughter and I entered this bank today to open her first checking account. We were the only patrons in the bank and there was one account manager on duty. We were directed to sit outside her open-doored office to await assistance. After sitting for five minutes, the account manager made a personal call to discuss her plans for sometime next week. This bank will not be servicing our money management needs and I am overly disappointed that a customer oriented business has such low standards for their consumer interactions.

I don't bank here was with someone who does but I would never do so the clerk waiting on him was rude sour woman acted like he was inconveniencing her because he wanted to check his account and didn't have his number with him.things went from bad to worse when he dared to ask a question which he never did get an answer to. I'm sorry if an elderly customer is a problem for this bank perhaps he should take his business elsewhere

Horrible place!!! I had a gentleman write me a check for payment on my motorcycle but i discussed with him i would need to have the check looked at by my bank. Soi took it there and did not try to deposit but simply ask the young ladies to take a look and see if they suspected fraudulence so they looked into it and for sure it was fraudulent so we laughed i said thank you thats what i came there for. So to me all is well i did the right thing. Nope same day i try to use my atm card and my account was frozen so now today (day 2) i try again still frozen. Meanwhile my newborn needs diapers, food, etc. I need gas, food etc and also so does my wife and 8 year old son. So now i play the wait game. So tcu illegally held my funds which i work hard for and made my family suffer and ruined my day by getting declined and then trying to scrape together enough cash to get gas in the car to provide for my family. In my eyes this was very neglegent and unprofessional. They didnt even have the decency to call me or let me know this was all gonna happen. This is what i get for trusting tcu and doing the right thing.
