Went in for a flu shot. It was a short wait and the pharm.tech was so friendly and knowledgeable about the up coming flu season. Gave me a few pointers on what to do to stay well.

Waste of time trying to get a COVID test at the pharmacy. I booked an appointment but the staff was unprepared to understand how to complete the process. They were nice about it but it felt like a fools errand.Went to buy cold relief items and tests. Nothing rang up properly and the manager acted like they were doing me some great favor in honoring the prices that were listed.Thanks no thanks. I won't visit this location again.

This week, Sept 5th, we picked up a prescription at the Hively Ave Walgreen's store. The cost was $353.89 for a 90 day supply. We asked other pharmacies to cost compare. Walmart charges $71.13 for the same script. A local grocery chain, Meijer, charges $46.65 for the very same prescription. Cost difference between Walgreen and Meijer? $307.24...for a 90 day supply. Oh...and Walgreen's told us that they will not refund the money once you walk out the door with your meds, even tho you never opened them.
