Not the biggest botanical garden in the US, but very well designed and able to hold your interest. The Japanese Garden is superb.

This review and pictures are from Christmas of 2025. Was a little chilly out but worth it. The grounds are decorated so beautifully for Christmas. I have not been there for any other occasion, but it's worth it to go see it decorated for Christmas.

I had a great time visiting the gardens, they have nice paved walking trails with lots of water features and different plants and trees throughout, I would definitely recommend visiting.
