Disappointed to see their display of right-wing political slogans and support for Trump advertised on their marquee. This creates an unwelcoming atmosphere for those of us who may not share those views. Especially with the large Hispanic demographic that Elkhart has.

I had a great experience with Yoder Carpets. Pete was very helpful when I went to pick out carpet samples. Plus he was able to immediately recognize the style of vinyl flooring that I was trying to match. Their prices are fair, and they were able to get my little project done well ahead of the original time frame. 10/10 would recommend.

Absolutely spectacular customer service. I recently stopped in here for my second time and I am very glad I did. I was helped within a matter of moments, and after explaining what I was after, the saleswoman was happy to show me several samples and explain the differences between all of them. I had been up all night doing renovations, and she was so patient with me as my brain fumbled around trying to find the right words!I was able to take a large vinyl flooring sample with me so I could check the color against the current decor, and after coming back the next day I ended up choosing carpeting instead.As far as cost, the prices here cannot be beat by many other local stores, and I ended up spending about a quarter of what I had budgeted for. I didn't have to compromise on quality either - this looks and feels very high end. (Yes, you *can* buy cheaper carpet at a big box store, but only if you want rough-feeling, low-quality fibers that stain quickly, break apart easily and will be smashed flat within the year. In other words, I would steer clear of "cheap" carpet from chain stores. I've learned from experience that cheap rarely equals good value!)Another bonus is that Yoder's has a lot of product in stock, so within five minutes of paying they had loaded up a roll of carpet and a roll of padding in my SUV for me. This was one of the easiest remodeling purchases I have ever made, from the beginning of my transaction to the end. They even asked me if I had everything I might need to install it before I left so that I wouldn't have to make a second trip. (And it's a good thing, too, because I had forgotten I was out of carpet padding.)On top of all this, they are a local store with family-friendly values, and that means a lot to me. The next time I'm doing a flooring job, I will definitely be stopping in to see what they have available. Thank you to this business & staff for a great experience, from start to finish!

We are over the moon with the new floor. They were able to give us options within our budget. We ultimately went with a gorgeous luxury vinyl. The installation was first-rate: subflooring clean, level and smooth. Flooring was laid down with precision, and yet quickly and efficiently performed. Expert craftmanship! If you do decide to splash out on flooring, it does a world of good to ensure that it’s installed by skilled specialists. Definitely recommend.
