Got off to a pretty rough start due to equipment being down but my instructor Rick quickly found a way to make sure everyone got some time in. He was never exlusive. He not only taught people how to drive a semi but was literally teaching people who had never even drove stick before. I could NEVER. He has more patience then I have ever had in my life. One heck of an instructor and the place is lucky to have him.

Just wanted to remark on my experience with an instructor named Rick DiMaggio who traveled out to Denver from the Evansville location, his home yard, to give me one-on-one training.Rick was knowledgeable, easy-going, and a lot of fun to be around. I will be a better, safer driver thanks to the instruction he gave me throughout the training course. Thanks and shout-out to Rick and 160 Driving Academy!

The women managing has lied I couldn’t tell you how many times, from telling me I need to quit my job to get the loan, to saying she’s gonna do things that she doesn’t end up going threw with! She is incredibly sarcastic and rolls her eyes at everything you could say. Talked about the interviews with students that went poorly, and their criminal records. Overall she’s just a bad face for the Evansville 160 academy!

Helped me succeed in every form and fashion. I became a one and done while fighting the battle of being homeless. Rocky and Katherine went out of their way continuously to make sure I got through the school. I’m forever indebted and forever grateful. You will succeed at this school they’ll make sure of it.

Wow, I've been a class a CDL driver nearly 20 years. Not once have I heard of a training school not be ready to test their students out immediately after training. From what I've heard there are multiple students that have paid, completed the required training, quit their jobs (recommended by 160) to start a new career just to be put on hold for no telling how long. So do what you want but I wouldn't trust any training that would put me in a holding status after they've taken my money. Because let's face it... It really sounds to me like once the check clears they quit caring about students all together.

I know that I really appreciate all the instructors. Dave made sure our class made sure that we understood what should be expected of us and to do it safely and efficiently. So yeah if you want to learn how to drive a semi this is the school you need to go to. It actually was fun..

Chas was an amazing instructor. Had a very direct approach and was able to break down any and everything step by step to make sure that you understood it. He had patience when needed, and was able to make you feel comfortable enough to build up your confidence. He made sure the I knew what I was doing and knew that I could do it! Couldn’t have done it without him! Big shout out to Chad!!

160 driving academy was a wonderful experience, I highly recommend it to anybody. Would also like to give a shout-out to my instructor Chad who helped me along the whole process and got me where I needed to be to pass my test. If anybody out there is looking to get a cdl 160 is the right place to go.

160 driving academy successfully trained me for CDL class A. Rocky, Chad, and Marylyn are professional cdl holders and instructors. I credit my success to these outstanding instructors whom made learning simple, provided feedback and never failed to make sure I had the knowledge and skills necessary to obtain a Class A CDL. Thank you all so much! Also the office manager Katherine helped jump start this whole process. From our first meeting she gave me a road map not only to obtaining my cdl, but also gave me a path to employment and necessary information to secure a job. I listened to her and took her advice and as of today I am happy to report not only a CDL class A, but I am employed by a local company doing local work. A true blessing from 160 driving academy to my family and I. I highly recommend anyone looking to become a professional driver to get started with 160 Driving academy they won’t let you down!

Mannn what can I say. 160 I highly recommend. Rocky Rosa was my instructor and he got me through the whole process in one try. That dude is a good man and fair. Even better teacher. They allow you to learn at your own rate but push you to greatness. I have no regrets goin through the Evansville branch and I would do it again if I had to. Appreciate everything they did for me. Can’t express enough the how thankful I am.
