There is no safety programs
They have no ASE certified people
They have people who are not diesel mechanics working on diesel trucks.

DO NOT HIRE ATLAS! I’d give zero stars if I could. They have lost several of our boxes and a king size mattress. They also broke a bed frame.

Julie and Eric Hubenet were amazing! We’re moving from South Carolina to Michigan, and their service was top tier. Great experience working with them. Took extra care of our stuff and really packed everything very neatly. Highly recommend!

My out of state move went seamlessly and completely stress free. Eric and Julie were AWESOME! Communication throughout the entire move was outstanding and very professionally managed and completed. I would highly recommend the Eric & Julie team to anyone that is planning a move.

Mr Eric and Ms Julie were absolutely phenomenal help. I just did a multi state move and they completely were professional, kind and extremely helpful. We move a lot due to the military, and we’ve never had a more pleasant experience in the 10+ moves we have done. Thank you so much to these amazing people!

I called this company to get a quote and talked with a representative who called and gave us a quote. We decided to go with a another company, yet the representative continued to harass me with continuous emails.. then he proceeded to say nasty things to me because I told him we are going with another company.. I will NEVER refer this company to anyone ever.

I moved to Missouri from Georgia. The people unloading my belongings broke my barbecue grill, broke mirror in my antique cabinet, broke antique desk from 1700’s Grandfather clock and old 4 tier shelving unit broke glass out of it. I witness the head unloaded throw my shoe rack across the van. I put in small amount of repay for damages online. I have been calling with no pay back. Keeps saying another person took over. I just want my money.

Completely unreliable. I called a few times because I am a USAA member and can possibly get a discount using this moving service. After 2 phone calls and an email, a representative finally reached out to me by email. I gave her a call and she sounded great on the phone and said she would call me and get everything figured out for the move. I never heard back from her, and when I tried calling her the next week she forwarded my call to voicemail and did not respond to a text message I sent her asking the status. This is a complete blow off, do not use Atlas Van Lines.

Had items stolen from my bags during the move process.
Have been working with them and insurance to retrieve these items and so far they have not been cooperating with my insurance.
Very unprofessional and do not recommend.
UPDATE: Never got resolve. The owner Dan/David called me but never resolved my issue. I had a Louis Vuitton tie in its original box removed from the LV bag it was placed in and the bag was replaced with hangers. I had a $600 Leather Jacket with tags on it stolen (a christmas present)I had 3 brand new north face beanies stolen (all with tags, they were supposed to be christmas presents). Avoid this company. Poor business practices. My mover Luis was amazing. I tipped him twice along with the movers. My tip was generous and to have tipped them and have my belongings stolen felt like
the ultimate violation.

I had a move set up with these folks which they sold to another company. When booking my move I was told my price was guaranteed and would not go up. The company they sold my move to showed up and charged an additional $4k. Atlas told me I must not have told them everything i had so it was my fault. I had told them I would need a semi trailer. The company that came out showed up with a 26 foot box truck half full of somebody else's stuff. I will never sign a contract with atlas again knowing that they sell their moves. Nobody is making anything right with furniture of mine that was damaged and Atlas told me I had to take it up with the company they sold the move to. I am very disappointed with this experience and am making sure the company i work for blacklist this company as one to move our people with.

I strongly recommend against using Mabey's Moving and Storage for a cross country move.
I’ve used Atlas Van Lines a few times before, with great results. This time I went with Atlas and it was subcontracted to Mabey’s. I sincerely hope Atlas drops Mabey’s as a subcontractor, as it will hurt their reputation.
Poor communication:
* In NY it’s typical to get a Certificate of Insurance to use a moving elevator. I had to ask them for this six times before they were able to deliver it.
* We never received a call about when the movers were coming. We called the office, they said they would call back, and they never did.
* For delivery, I also never received a call confirming delivery time. I called their office twice the day before to ask about it. They said they didn’t hear from the driver. I asked for the driver’s number. The driver responded to me immediately. I suspect Mabey’s wasn’t even trying.
Dishonest estimates, scammy practices:
* Another moving company pointed out the extra cost for a smaller shuttle on delivery. They said companies often leave this out on purpose. I asked my Mabey’s rep about this and he said don’t worry, it’s in the estimate. It wasn’t.
* Even worse: they claim that you won’t pay more than 10% over the estimate. Of course, my total was 10% over the estimate. But, there is a clause that says they can charge up to another 15% if you sign an agreement after delivery for extra services. I was ~tricked~ into signing an agreement for extra services. This extra service was a smaller shuttle on pickup, which 1) was unnecessary, 2) was left off of the initial estimate, 3) was left off of my final bill of sale. All by “accident”. This sequence of “accidents” let them charge me 25% over the estimate instead of the guaranteed 10% max. Perfect. They agreed to pay for 1/2 of this extra charge. I was tempted to sue them but wanted to be done with the ordeal.
Damaged goods:
* My furniture was poorly protected. My expensive record cabinet has a big scratch on the side. There are other various nicks and issues. All because of a poorly done moving job.
* The movers showed up without a mattress cover, so I needed to go buy one.
* My mattress and various other things showed up covered in dirt and grime.
