My daughter 3 years old wanted her ears pierced. She was told if she would potty train she could get her ears pierced. She potty trained in 2 weeks. She was so excited to get her ears pierced. I called claires in evansville asked about it made the appointment. I brought my daughter in and LORD worst experience ever. Talk about a traumatized child. We almost left with only one ear done. The girl was awful that done it. First of all she had to mark them 3 or 4 times to get the dots correct. My daughter climbed right up in the chair she was pumped so she wasn't squirming around she was sitting real still. The girl done the first hole the thing got stuck the hole is crooked as all get out it doesn't line up with the back at all. It's a nightmare to change earrings WHEN my daughter will let you change them become she is terrified it's going to hurt like when she got them done. The other side is still not level with the other sides ear. I absolutely do not recommend getting them pierced at Claires. She had this done in November of 2024 and she is still traumatized. When I even go to try to twist the earrings just to make sure the holes don't grow to the posts. I feel terrible for her. Just beware. I can remember many years ago getting my ears done and it did not hurt. She has cried with hers hurting. With times the piercing gun got stuck. I wish I would have never done it. My thing always was I would not make her get her ears pierced rather I would wait until she asked for it. She had begged to get them done so we made the deal i would reward her for potty training and it traumatized her. She would let me dr them and put the medicine on them but she would cry that they hurt. Claires please do better and hire better people to do these things. Don't traumatize any others. The girl didn't even apologize to her either time the gun got stuck and she had to rip it off. Today is the first time she has asked me to change them for her and actually let me change them.

My wife Debbie got her ears pierced at the Bluegrass Outlet Store in Simpsonville, Ky. She said that Felicity was awesome. She was professional, knowledgeable, and made her feel comfortable. Highly recommended! Thanks Felicity!!!

Paid $90 to get my daughter’s ears pierced, 2 days later the front of the earring broke off so I had to push a new earring through it. Went back to Claire’s to get a replacement earring since the Claire’s earring broke and I was forced to buy new earrings even though it was the Claire’s earring that they used to pierce her ears that broke.

I was fine on my own . The girl asked me if I needed help. I asked if that was all the chapstick area. She told me something was chapstick. I bought it and it was actually lipgloss. Yes , I should have read, but I trusted her. My mistake, but waste of trip. They need to learn products better.

Stopped by the other day with our 6yr old daughter - typical Claire's/mall experience aka not a single employee asked if we needed help or offered... she was curious about piercing ears, but not quite ready - so may have helped if they asked... however, we discovered that they now sell a decent selection of children's "clip-on" earrings - which tbh, I don't recall ever seeing anywhere before!! So we got my little one a cute pair of clip-ons for now.

i hated it there. the worker spoke to me like i was a child when i asked for a basic ear piercing. she told me that "corporate" told them they arent doing cartilage piercings, and havent been doing them for months across all claire stores... when my sister got hers pierced at claires just a few weeks ago. the blatant lie was so obvious... im sorry you're too lazy to do your own job. horrible service. treated everyone in there horribly. i am upset.

I can always find what I'm looking for at Claire's, and I always feel like I paid too much. Not sure how to rate that, but at 59 years old, that pretty much sums up my life experience with their chain

My daughter became very overwhelmed when it came time to get ears pierced and the lady was very patient and kind. Expensive but it what she wanted.
