We got there about a half hour after they opened. I was greeted in a timely manner and the lady was so welcoming..she asked what I was looking for which was a mother of the brides dress. We discussed a few other things like color and style and she started to help me pick out a few to try on. When she went to get another dress the 'manager" told her to stop helping me and help with a bridal party of 5.. she apologized over and over and I told her she has to do what she is told and it's not her fault. I wish I would have gotten her name as she was amazing but I was so mad we left. I guess one person doesn't matter compared a possible of 5 dresses being sold. I had every intention of buying a dress while I was there along with possibly buying a flower girl dress but there again I wasn't a 'party" and was not important enough. Never will I ever walk back into that store and I hope the girl that helped me continues to be such a ray of sunshine. As for the manager.. I hope she realizes she not only lost a sale for good, she needs be retrained on what retail really is, everyone matters not just a group.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have never had a professional experience buying a bridesmaid dress or prom dress at David’s Bridal. Staff were standing outside, watched me and another customer walk in and did not follow to assist. I had to leave the store and ask the associate if she worked there. It has been a nightmare to order through them. My bridesmaid dress was delayed significantly then when I showed up to pick it up they could not find it. Staff was not friendly either. Would not buy a wedding dress or bridesmaid dress here.

They didn't have a big enough selection in my friends size. Instead of going a size up when looking at bridal dresses they gave her a size she could barely fit into.
Not as impressed as I thought I would be.

This was the first of 2 appointments of my wedding dress shopping day so David's Bridal had the opportunity to set the precedent for the day. Unfortunately, they failed. I had an appointment for noon and when my support system and I arrived, they were not prepared for us at all. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a consultant to help us and we had another appointment at another bridal boutique at 1:30. During our wait we were encouraged to browse dresses. We started looking in a section at the dresses in bags only to be told we couldn't look at those. We were directed to another section with dresses out of the bags and started pulling a few dresses to try on. We were then told that we couldn't pull dresses. We were not made aware of any of these rules when we were encouraged to look at dresses. When our consultant finally approached us, we were directed to an area that did not have enough seating for my friends and family. There were 4 seats and 6 family and friends. The consultant was covered in dog hair and did not look professional at all. I have dogs so I understand that dog hair can be a problem when wearing all black, however, she was absolutely covered in hair. She was helpful when asked for veils or petticoat but didn't make any suggestions or try to go above and beyond what was asked of her. I felt like I was just another bride and that this was just another day of trying on clothes instead of trying to find the perfect dress for my wedding day. I thought that my expectations may have been too high with David's Bridal until I went to my appointment with the other boutique. The quality of my experience at Rose and Bliss was exceptionally different than David's Bridal. If you want a personal experience where you feel like you are important and your look for your wedding day matters, go to Rose and Bliss!

The store itself is overall awful in my opinion. It is extremely unwelcoming and the workers almost feel snooty. I don’t understand why my mom can’t slightly pull a dress up to look at it without getting in trouble by a worker like a child and being told not to touch, or another worker shooing my mother away from me as she’s laying my train and telling her “I do that”. This is the 4th bridal store I’ve been to and it’s the only one you can’t grab your own dresses or let someone you’re comfortable with help you out of them. If I can take the dress into the room and try it on and zip it up by myself, then why can I not pull it out to see the bottom or why can my mother not lay my train? The dresses here look cheap compared to the other bridal stores I’ve been to, where they let you grab your own dresses and let someone you’re comfortable with help you. So basically I’d just go to any other bridal store: better environment, better quality, better prices. Anna Les about 10 minutes away in Washington mall is very friendly and I recommend them

Ladies at the front were very nice. However, the alterations lady was not. This was my first time having to get a dress altered so I was not familiar with the process. Even after trying to explain to her what I needed, she continued to try to do other things that I did not ask for and then was angry when I did not bring the right things with me for her to successfully do the things that I DID NOT ASK FOR. She made me feel very uncomfortable and was very disrespectful. I understand that language barriers can be difficult, but that is no excuse for talking to someone in the way that she talked to me. I have not received my dress back yet, so I am just hoping that the work done to it is good. Even if it is, I don’t know that I will be a returning customer due to my experience this time.

My stylist keep disappearing to go up to front counter and socialize. The first dress she brought me was a size 24 and I am a size 14 in dresses. We could not even visualize what the dress would look like on me. She kept disappearing and come back and say she could not find any of the dresses I liked in my size. I was there 1.5 hours and tried on only 5 dresses. She kept telling me that a dress I liked online could be ordered by the store. I told her it said it was only in stores on the website. She told me at least 5 times that it can be order. I waited around 30 minutes while they tried to order it. She finally told me that they would call me and I could order it over the phone. They called me an hour later saying it wasn't available to order. I believe it was a complete waste of time and I will not be recommending this store to anyone. The girl who was next to me had great service and tried on 10 dresses in 30 minutes. It is all about who your stylist is.

The young lady who helped us was very sweet, however she seemed very new in her position. She was not helpful in finding dresses. She gave my married daughter w/children who asked for a size 16 women a junior size 16 saying it would fit the same and of course it didn’t. None of the dresses we saw online were in the store. Kept saying we could order. I don’t understand why you would buy a dress without trying on. Not a good idea. Never ever have we had such an experience with David’s Bridal . We will still use David’s in the future, this was just disappointing.

I honestly did not have a good experience wedding dress shopping at David’s Bridal. I felt lost and overwhelmed trying to figure out what I wanted. I could only choose four dresses to try on and I was ready to leave by the time I tried the fourth on. The environment didn’t feel welcoming to me and I didn’t feel like I was valued. The whole experience felt rushed and overwhelming.

Truly incredible experience today at David's Bridal with Bobbi's help. Bobbi was a true delight helping us find our perfect dresses and shoes. She was very friendly and so down to earth. No need to feel embarrassed around Bobbi. She made every moment comfortable, fun and with her knowledge, you, too, will find your perfect dress. 10 stars for Bobbi on this special shopping day!
