  I am one LIVID mama! My daughters have pajama day at school Friday for the last day of school before winter break and they wanted to use their piggy bank money to buy themselves new pj's for school because I told them I didn't have the money to spend on it right now with Christmas around the corner and I get paid this Friday. We went with their 7 dollars and loose change that added up to $17.86 from their piggy banks in hopes we could find some that were their sizes. We were shocked to actually find both of their sizes and both were the last one on the shelf! We get up to the register and I let two customers go in front of us because I knew we were going to be counting change. When we get up to the register I told her how much we had in change and said "I don't know if you want to count it but I have $17.86 and may need to use my card if it's anymore". Both pajamas were $13.38 all together. In stead of her helping me count the other $6.38 she went to get her coworker or manager to work the other cashier and after I counted the money out she says "Next time we can't do that". How can a business tell a customer they can't use American made money in America!?!?! She didn't even have to count the change!! No one else cared they had to wait for ME to count out $6 freaking dollars and 38 freaking cents!! WORST SERVICE I'VE EVER HAD!! I WILL NOT BE SHOPPING HERE EVER AGAIN!! I was absolutely shocked by how rude she was.. usually Dollar General workers understand the struggle people go through and try to help you out or is at least considerate but we had enough and still were treated as if we didn't. I hope an owner/manager contacts me and makes this right! I am so mad she did this to my daughters who worked so hard for their money and get treated like they can't use it because IT'S CHANGE!!! 😡 Absolutely ridiculous!!!

  Was it unreasonable of me to expect to be able to get baby wipes at 9:37 on a Friday night, when you 'close' at 10:00? Or to want to use the same brand that I know won't cause any problems, a brand unique to this store?

  Worse place. I don’t like the employees. I have employees stealing and everything is just going wrong and they don’t want to do nothing about it. They will not keep up with stocking and they can’t keep people because they are letting thing slide at doesn’t need too.

  I accidentally bought 3 dawn and wanted to return 1 in that day and manager dont let me return because she say I can’t return that product ..NO EXPLANATION why i can’t return it and she’s being rude to me so thats why i write this review to let people know that in case u bought something accidentally.. u cannot return that item in that store even in there website it says 30 days …

  This place is so poorly ran. The pay is less than $10. They want you to be the cashier and stocker. They expect you to clean the whole store, they leave frozen items out all day to thaw out because its on one person to cashier, clean, and stock everything. The public bathrooms are right next to the disgusting/dirty microwave and mini fridge. Your breaks are none existing here. Do not become a key holder here, its like a level down from manger. Key holder is a fancy word for your going to be paid just a tad more, you'll be responsible for opening or closing by yourself with zero help. Ever wonder why DG is always closed because of short staff? Because they treat their employees like garbage, dont have fair wage, not worth it for $9.

  How is this one open but the Newburgh one is shutdown for "unsanitary conditions?"This one was always the worse of the two.

  What happen to the Dollar General it is disgusting dirty can barely walk down the isles with all the trash and items everywhere not hanidcapp accessible at all so anybody in a chair can't go in this was the worst trip I have ever taken and the " manager " was outside the entire time I was there talking to her friends and " her man " as she put it while the cashier bless her heart worked her line all the way down with no help from anybody there I give no stars would not go there I'd drive across town first
