Dollar Tree in Evansville is known by some as the Dollar & a Quarter Tree, as many items now cost $1.25 or more, with prices varying up to five dollars. It offers a little bit of everything, from inspiring craft and party supplies to everyday essentials and beyond. Shoppers can find household staples, health and beauty products, cleaning supplies, food and drinks, toys, seasonal décor like Halloween decorations, home decorations, cosmetics, and greeting cards. There are both name brands and different brands available. The store is often very busy with a lot of traffic, and it can get crowded, making it difficult to maneuver through the aisles. The establishment is usually described as messy. Customer service is frequently criticized, with reports that staff is not always the nicest and that more cashiers are needed. Some experiences with employees have been called rude. A positive note is that this location has more than most Dollar Trees, including a frozen food cooler. While some products are noted as cheap and break easy, many visit for the unbeatable value and thousands of affordable finds. Some recommend shopping online instead to avoid the store's challenges.
Friendly staff reasonable pricing and especially name brand canned good and laundry/ cleaning supplies.

They are marking everything up. The line for checkout was very long. Another cashier was going to open a register and the cashier that had the long line told her not to open, saying she had this. She was more worried about the other employees putting new price tags on items than she was getting the customers in and out.
