GameStop is a popular destination for gamers, offering a wide range of new and used video games, consoles, controllers, and accessories for major platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo, as well as retro gaming options. The store also features trading cards, sports cards, and collectibles, making it a hub for gaming and pop culture merchandise, including anime and board games. Customers can sell or trade in their old items for cash or store credit, and the store is actively buying graded collectibles. However, some reviews indicate that the selection of games has diminished, often resembling that of larger retail chains. While many customers report positive experiences, highlighting kind and knowledgeable staff, there are mentions of inconsistent training among employees. Some customers noted that staff may not always have the answers, leading to extended wait times for assistance. Despite these issues, most customers appreciate the efforts of the staff to help them find what they need and recommend GameStop for its friendly service and community atmosphere. Overall, GameStop is seen as a valuable resource for gamers, though improvements in inventory and employee training could enhance the experience further.
Employees are very knowledgeable and helpful about the games and will answer any questions you have about the games or gaming system you have if they can

Due tho their state these days they rarely have a decent collection of games. Their selection is more like that of Target or Walmart now. I never see even popular indie titles in stock and sometimes they aren't even carrying popular AA and AAA games.

One of the best GameStop experiences my gaming family has had. The sales person was very kind and knowledgeable about upcoming games, their pro-program, and preorders. Our family of gamers will definitely be going back.
