Kokie's Catering - Echo Valley is a venue with over 50 years of experience, located on the beautiful west side of Evansville. It holds up to 500 guests and offers a full-service experience for events, with a lakeside gazebo that is a beautiful spot for a wedding or backdrop for special photos. The venue is set up with backdrops, linens, up-lighting, specialty tables, runners, seating and much more, helping to make planning and decorating simple. Their planning services are offered free of charge. The venue and staff are outstanding. The owners made the experience seamless and were amazing to work with, along with their servers and bartenders. There is so much attention to detail and everything can be absolutely perfect. Kokie's food is top notch and very delicious, with an extensive menu. The fried chicken is excellent, to die for, and the best hands down. The food has always been perfect over many years. They have been proudly voted the Platinum Award for "Best Place for a Wedding Reception" and "Best Caterer," which they are very deserving of. They are highly recommended. One noted exception is that the lighting could have been better for a wedding, requiring additional lights for filming. However, everything else was good.
