So happy to have found this store! Difficult to find quality apparel fabric nowadays. But this shop has a lovely selection. The staff was wonderful, helpful, and so very knowledgeable. Met the owner. Also very helpful, very knowledgeable, and experienced. I will be returning every few weeks! Thank you for a great experience.

Really nice selection of fabrics and helpful staff except for the male cashier who has been rude to me on two occasions now. When I went to pay for my purchases he asked what my name was as if I had an account there. Perhaps it is convenient for some customers to be in the store's database but I had never been asked if I wanted to register, so it seems intrusive to me that they just decide for me to put my name in their computer and then track my purchases, when all they need to do is scan the barcode and take the card I give them for payment. Instead, the cashier kept asking for my name and then was acting condescendingly when I asked to just take my payment and be done with it. Very disappointing. The worst interaction I've had at a store in a very long time. Seems like this person's definition of customer service is to make customers as uncomfortable as possible so they never come back. Another customer was standing by the check out desk and started talking to me as if in attempt to diffuse the tension, which was nice of her but I think a better idea is for the inadequate employees to be sent to the back so they don't scare anyone off in the first place. This cashier was looking down on me as if I was a bother and not a welcome customer. Thanks a lot.

While asking about pressor feet for my new machine, I was berated for buying my machine at Paducah Quilt Week, which is not a local business. I’m not from Evansville so this quilt shop is not local to me either. Rude, disrespectful and condescending. I would not have bought my machine from here regardless. I was interested in pressor feet and an extension table, which I would have purchased here, but chose to call the business I purchased my machine from who happily helped me and had super fast shipping and great customer service.

This IS the most well organized multi fabric/purpose store that I have seen so far on my long road trip. This place caters to quilters, seamstress, craftsperson and many more. All kinds of fabrics anywhere from cotton to leather, notions from needles to beads, and sewing machines for you to repair or purchase. Quite impress with this store. What I like the most was their variety of specialty books on crafts (quilting, needlepoint, costume making, and other arts that you can create!).Well worth your trip to visit this shop.

I went to Let's Sew to get a machine fixed. It ended up being an issue with my using the wrong bobbin for the machine. I received a call the next day letting me know that was the issue- and that there is no charge. I appreciate the great customer service that only small local shops like this can give!!

It's great to find a real fabric store for dressmakers as well as quilters. They have a terrific collection, a variety of fabrics, a button wall I could get lost in, and some choice designer fabrics from Italy and France. The staff are helpful w/o hovering. It's worth a long, long drive...and that's what I do!!

I think this is one of the best fabric stores I have been to in the whole area. When we walked in a very friendly staff member took us on a tour of the store showing us where each of the various fabrics and other items were at. No one hovered over us and we browsed throughout the store finding fabric lines we had never seen before. Everyone was friendly and so helpful with any of our questions. Very clean and well lit store. Plus I have never seen that many variety of buttons!

My friend and I are on a road trip, and we were heading to Paducah for a well-known fabric store. Then we decided we were too lazy to drive an additional three hours and found this fabulous store. When we walked in, we were greeted by several employees, and even offered a tour of the store so we would know where to look for different items. We were feeling as if we were let loose in a candy store as if we were kids. I found several items I had not seen in other fabric stores. The store is very well laid out, organized clean, and the sales help was exceptional. I do not feel cheated out of going to Paducah, as I am bringing home several really great fabrics to work with crafts and garment construction. I would recommend the store to anyone who likes to sew. The store is also a babylock dealer so it's nice to see familiar machines in the store as you walk in . Every item that you buy is actually recorded with your name and phone number so in case you do need more items they can ship it to you. I thought that was a pretty good touch. Highly recommend

I recently moved back to Evansville and the timing on my machine had been messed up for a while. I tried a store close to where I've moved, but it was shady. The OPEN sign was flashing, but when I went to go inside there was a note on the door about who owns the building and ID must be presented. It also had the things it mentioned inside, but there was no business. On a whim, I went to Let's Sew. There, I was greeted by Jim who took one look at me carrying my machine and knew what I was there for. I only needed the timing fixed, but he went above and beyond by adjusting the tensions, adding a new needle, clean and lube, testing the bobbin winder, fixing the timing, and making sure all was well by actually using the machine. Much to my surprise he had it done the next day! Turns out it's a small world and we knew each other through one of my relatives. I am so thankful that everything was restored and I am now able to use my machine without the horrible clicking.I originally was going to give my rating 4 stars, only because I hadn't wandered through the entire store (probably for the best). I considered that if the rest of the store was anything like my initial experience, then it deserved 5. I am now recommending this store to family and friends!

Read good reviews so decided to stop and check it out. Lots of fabrics, buttons, laces, ribbons and patterns galore! Staff is friendly and readily available. Whether you quilt or sew, you should find what you need here. Will definitely be back.

the only reason that I gave one star is because the young sales woman, not the owner, is wonderful. I'm surprised she continues to work there as the female owner is incredibly rude to this young woman. The female owner is rude, dismissive, and talks over potential customers and her employees. I was looking into buying a very expensive machine, the female owner's behavior convinced me to spend my money elsewhere. I bought a babylock, but not from that store and it was 100% due the female owner's attitude and behavior towards myself and her employee. I'll spend 2.5 hours traveling to a reputable Babylock dealer for service when needed vs a five minute drive to Lets Sew, that's how bad my experience was.

Great for sewing for dolls. A description of the scale of each fabric is provided. Also you are able to order 1/4 and 1/3 yd cuts I have not seen few online sellers who offer smaller than 1/2 yard cuts. Quick and accurate delivery!
