I purchased a big Craftsman storage container for my 7 1/2’ Christmas tree. One of the ends that lock I can’t get it to stay closed. I will zip tie and have to store it laying down. I wanted to store it upright to save space in the garage by laying it down. Other then it not locking in place I like it. I like that it had wheels to move it around.

I underestimated this place for so long because of their ads claiming to save big money, turns out I was wrong and the appliances here are actually very affordable.

I no longer expect halfway decent or even mediocre customer service at this point, however, I do expect my uncle to receive respect and consideration when requesting assistance from the employees standing in that department. On two different occasions, the same employee begrudgingly and curtly assisted my uncle who was nothing but courteous and gentle. It is really disheartening to engage in simple interactions like that. Having bad days and not wanting to over-accommodate rude customers is totally understandable, but having the type of demeanor and tone that the employee had was unnecessary.

Store itself was good, nice stock for the most part. Asked an employee for directions to an item in the garden area, she looked a couple aisles and came back, told me she was pretty new and didn’t find it so it must be inside and I should ask a manager. I ended up walking around inside until I found it on my own. Cashier wasn’t too friendly. Said hello and how are you as we were checking out and his reply was simply “I’m here”. Overall my experience was fine, the 2 encounters are minor. Won’t stop me from returning.

The absolute worst way to pick up anything! Just to pick up a couple bags of soil and compost took 30 minutes. Just go to Lowe’s. It’s super seamless and takes 5-10 minutes max. This goes for anything, not just stuff from the garden center.

Kristi in the paint department is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I had a paint sample I needed matched, she was able to determine the sheen and match it perfectly! She double checked the match in store and when we put it on the walls, it's perfect. I can't thank her enough for the hours of scrubbing she saved me, I'm so glad I went there!

I didn’t appreciate the little girl up front stopping me and asking me for a pickup slip I didn’t have a second time AFTER I pointed to receipt taped to the item I was picking up on behalf of DoorDash… showing her that receipt should’ve been enough. Perhaps educate your Rebate Desk associates so they don’t insult the next Dasher.

I don't know what happened to Menards customer service but it is really gone downhill I spent 30 minutes shopping for stuff and not one employee came up and said can I help you trying to get Lumber down off the second floor with only one arm was not a good experience employees were just walk by and not even acknowledge me or try to help I'm thinking it's time to start looking at another store to buy all my goods at it's really sad because from when Menards first open they were the friendliest most helpful hardware store

Menards helped us build a house. They have great prices and good products.
These ladies were hard workers, helping me put fencing and concrete on a trailer.
