I've used Mills a few different times with auto claims. They always do great work. They work with the rental company which makes everything easier for the costumer. The staff is friendly, and gives updates the whole process. I would recommend them.

Recently my car was hit by a company truck while parked. I chose mills to take it to to get fixed and I’m highly disappointed. The paint job is horrible, you can see all the buff marks, the MALIBU lettering wasn’t put back on my car, I found the new letters under the seat in the car, rear lights still weren’t working when I picked the car up and my car feels like it needs an alignment. Not happy.

So I’ve been with mills for a long time. Frankly my entire family has but the past few times we’ve had some issues. So back in November I hit a deer with my 2011 4 runner- had to get my entire front bumper replaced as it was completely destroyed and it pushed the frame in. Well long story short they told me it would only be a couple of days turning into an annoying and inconvenient several weeks paying for a rental car. They ordered the wrong parts and I think some were on back order which I don’t 100% blame them for I get it life happens. The issue was the communication. We had to call every time to check for an update and wouldn’t hear anything for an entire week or more about the vehicle. Well 9 months later currently October- the bumper was not settled to my car correctly and the gap was awful and it was a truly crappy job. We took it back to mills they said they’d contact insurance and we’re sorry for the inconvenience and would order new parts that were supposed to fit the car better. Well he again told me it would be a couple of days as I dropped my car off Sunday night it’s now Thursday and I found out they ordered the wrong part. And again I had to call to find that information out. Mills usually does great work and I love the people there but it’s been a pretty crappy experience and we’re not sure we will be using mills again due to the repeated inconveniences and the horrible communication.

I had the drivers side mirror replaced. They had to take the inside door panel off to get to the cable.
I got the car back and the door panel was loose on the bottom and the back. It was not like that when I took it in. They refused to fix it saying it was like that when I took it in but they couldn’t prove it.
I took it to another body shop who fixed it for no charge. It took them a half hour to fix it.
I left Mills on Maxwell at 2 and it was fixed by another body shop at 3.
So, the obvious thing to take from this is they will not do what it takes to make a happy customer. They refused to make a simple fix because they claimed to not think it was like that when I took it in.
They do not have business ethics or professionalism.

My truck has been there since 4/22/2023 ad nothing has been done. Mills shop floor scheduler keeps blaming Allstate Insurance for the delay. He keeps writing Supplements for more damage. He has told me several times it is going in the shop, and when I drove it was still on the lot across from the shop. The Scheduler was Chance. I made a trip over to find out what was going on. It's in the shop but nothing has been done. I went over there again to talk to him last He was not there. I asked if he would be there the next day and I was told he had been fired for lying to customers. I want this message to go to the owner of this body shop and I want to find out from him when my truck will be fixedHe also told me he had the parts there to fix it which was also a lie.

They were very helpful by getting my car in on the schedule that worked out for me & were extremely helpful with the entire process. Gave updates on what was going on & what the next step was. When I picked my car up I didn’t realize they’d detail the inside/outside so that was extremely satisfying to see. All in all I would definitely recommend Mill’s Body Shop to anyone who needs their vehicle serviced.Services: Painting
