I've been taking my 14 yr old female deer head chihuahua for a few years now , she doesn't like anyone to touch her paws at all and shes very nervous but with the amazing staff and their caring for her they patiently manage to get her nails done with no problems. The Price is affordable. I love spoiled rotten pet grooming. I highly recommend them to anyone”
“I’ve been shopping at this location for a few years. The manager and staff are always present, super friendly, and helpful. The shop is organized and very clean. They always offer to help me load, match prices of local competitors, and readily replaced some hay bales that ended up having mold.”

“Had a great info session with "Galen" (sp?, sorry) about our families first aquarium. He was very knowledgeable. One of our tiger fish we bought died and we brought it back (you must have water sample too) to figure out what's going on with our tank.He tested it and found out tank was good. He did inform us about how tiger fish "school" though...so that was on us that we didn't acclimate properly.We also got to see a sea anemone and learned about healthy signs when they are floating their appendages should be "puffy". We also learned about tank sizing, proper feeding and LOTS of other stuff.I appreciate locally owned experts who take interest in their jobs and communicate with us who don't know much!Thank you so much for helping us start to develop our new aquatic family members!”

“They have a lot of what I need. They tend to run out of bunny stuff, and since I and a lot of other people bought bunnies from them, you'd think they would work harder to keep options in stock. They also tend to have too few registers open. However, it's fundamentally a fun store and I'll keep going there. They do have more options than Pet Smart.”
“Always a good experience here. What surprises me about them is that they have some really cool Carhartt, Ariat, and other clothes. The baby chickens weren't out last time I was there, but that's just a fun thing for me and the kid. Lol. They have good staff and a lot of good products.”
“We got 6 fish! It was very nice. It was kind of busy since they had a decent plan going on (buy 6 get 1 free). It's so nice they had a great deal on valentines day to! They also have pamphlets so I got some great info for my fish. On the tanks it'll say if the fish are peaceful, semi-aggressive, aggressive (I forget all the words they use but it's their temperament). It lists their preferred diet, possible size, tank size... I love the store.”

“A hidden gem in the Evansville metro area, Give a Dog a Bone is exceptional when it comes to holistic pet products. Coming from Colorado, we weren't sure if we could find all of the natural dog bones we were used to, but this place has them! The staff are amazing, hard working people who love to help.
