Doesn’t ACTUALLY buy clothes, rather attempts to coerce you into trading and will downright refuse clothes in perfectly good condition. From a customer side prices are at least double what you’d find at any secondhand or thrift store. Your time and money are better spent at just about any other clothing store.

Waste of time. I had a better experience selling items/clothes on facebook and made twice as much. I brought in brands like Windsor, Fashion Nova, and good condition puma shoes and only got $13 back.

I wouldn’t waste your time bringing in your clothes unless it’s SHEIN. They continue to baffle me with what they will and will not accept.

Not good selling prices even for name brand stuff. Also keep account of the items you have and how many, as they will take your items for themselves , and act like it got lost. I noticed the only accessory I had brought in was taken but not paid for so I went back in and the manager magically "found" it. A pair of shoes are also missing and I'm sure other things I can't recall. Will not be returning.

The gals working were all helpful, even one who was still just training. I needed a pair of jeans fast and found just what I needed. After getting home I found out that they were a bit too tight. They were nice enough to let me exchange for a different pair.Very nice place ?

About a week ago I brought in a large tote and laundry basket full of clothes, most with the tags still on them, some less than 2 months old, and some just from this past fall (with styles that are still in and being sold in boutiques for the current season). Before making the trip to Evansville, I called the store to make sure they were still accepting buys that day and was answered with a very annoyed, yes. Now, I have sold clothes to this location before and left with about a 1/4 of what I came in with for a decent price, so I thought I would try it again. Once I dropped my items off, the look on the employee's face of my totes told me I should have just walked back out and not have wasted my time. Needless to say, I was right. Not only were all of my clothes thrown back into my totes, in clumps, but I was told most of my items were worn, damaged, and out of style. Again, my clothes are less than a year old, as I am actively loosing weight and having to buy new clothes constantly, meaning 90% of the things I have are worn once or never worn. However, their comment on this was not accurate, as they accepted jeans that I bought back in high school (10 years ago mind you) from American Eagle with the old logo in them. Out of style... more like not the style of the particular buyer that night. One experience I had was great, the other experience was terrible and I will not be back because of this.

I guess brand new black Levi skinny jeans, brand new hunting coat and brand new Boot Barn girl cowboy boots aren't in season this time of year. Ridiculous...

Don't bother taking your clothes there to be sold. You'll receive a horrible experience with employees that are rude and disrespectful. I was told my 2 medium size totes of name brand school clothes & athletic wear items (some new) would be done in 1-3 hrs and I would receive a text when ready. I killed time in the area & went back 3 hrs later to check because I had to be at work within an hour. I was told they hadn't gotten to them yet and they'd be ready in 45 minutes. I said if you guarantee they'll be ready in 45 minutes then I'll wait. The young girl then said they couldn't guarantee the time and I could take my clothes back with me and bring another time. I didn't take them with me and left for work. It's a good thing I didn't wait around because it took 80 minutes for them to finally text saying my clothes were ready. I went in the following morning and was told there was only (1) piece of clothing they wanted to buy. I knew then the girls from the previous night decided to take the first item on the top to buy and didn't even look at the rest because in the other tote there were (3) additional shirts exactly like the one they wanted to buy. Long story short....I didn't sell them the shirt. I talked to the manager/owner....not really sure because the young employee that waited on me said the owner wasn't there when I asked to speak to the owner. I let the "person in charge" know how I had been treated and suggested she have a meeting with her employees to discuss their behavior and policies. Needless to say....I won't be taking any clothes to Plato's anymore. Be Smart .... Take Your Clothes Somewhere Else ...

Unprofessional and unfriendly staff, with little fashion knowledge. If you're a person of color, don't bother, sell them yourself online.

Gave us two different sized shoes as a pair. Paid $70 for them, too. This store is an absolute joke — don’t waste your time. That’s what prompted this review, but just in general, the staff is always rude and mad at the customers, it seems like they only buy Shein anymore, and they refuse to buy any good clothing that you try to sell to them — even if it’s new with tags.

Staff are Rude to say the least.!And if you suspect them of accepting Stolen Rock Revival jeans, Plato's are more than happy to protect the Tweakers Selling the Stolen property and will only work with the Police if there is a Police report.. Knowing that it is Rare for anyone to fill out a police report for a stolen pair of pants a dress, boots etc.. And they Capitalize on that very fact.. But the way in which that girl Flipped script and was Rude AF, after I brought up that I suspect a Tweeker either Tried to sell or Sold a pair of Rock Revival to their store.. So Be Aware..
