Horrible customer service! We drive 1.5 hours to purchase a 5000 dollar lawnmower. We opened a new Home Depot credit card to get 0% financing and 100.00 store credit plus use our military discount. When we got there the customer service desk charged us for the wrong lawnmower, refused to allow us to use our military discount and refused to apply the 100 dollar in store coupon. He told us "too bad and to order it online if we wanted to use those discounts" after he chargers our card for the wrong lawnmower he told us we could take the one we didn't want or wait 48 hours for the money to be credited back to the card then come back and "try again to get the right one" what kind of customer service is this? We went across town to the other Home Depot and they were able to help us. They were super friendly there, we got to use our military discount and the in store coupon that was advertised!!! Don't waste you time at this store. Adam at customer service is a total jerk!!!

I went to buy some landscape poles and when I selected 2 I was selecting the third one and two poles fell out of the rack and smashed my foot.I limped over to the Pro register and asked for a manager. The teller said ok I will page him.The manager came to me setting behind the counter and said 'fill out this form someone from the claims dept will be in touch. He didn't care to investigate my injuries or the area where it happened. Claims department called 4 days later and offered me $300.to settle. 18 days offered $500.30 days and it is now $1000.Admitting no responsibility, waiving future loss and wanting to settle.

Looking for a specific item that wasn't available at our usual competitor store. Otherwise, I greatly despise Home Depot.

This is the worst place to spend time or money I've purchased four major items from the store costing 5000 had to wait almost a solid two months for items that was paid for in full and mind me that had to pay an additional fee for the cords to all of the appliances and then was told that the appliances package will be installed and none was the delivery driver sat down everything unboxed no cords attached and refused to install terrible company with terrible tactics needed for more training from command unto the delivery drivers never spend another dime with this company or recommend them for a screwdriver

We finalized the selection of two Andersen exterior French doors with the Evansville, IN millwork department in January, 2021. We were told at the time the millwork associate would need to speak with Andersen directly due to the non standard size and special order requirements of the doors. This process, despite our visits and telephone inquiries, took another 6 months. The final quote and purchase order with payment was made in August, 2021.The cost? In excess of $13,000! The project, now more than a year old, remains unfinished. In addition to the long lead time and the HD associates failure to drive the project along, it was only discovered in October, 2021 (install date) that one door was ordered incorrectly and the second, without the necessary trim. A second door was ordered and the rescheduled install date set for December, 2021. Again this date came and went until we called and asked HD to follow up. The project completion date was set for January 31st. On his arrival the installer informed us one of the doors had been released to another customer, installed in their home and then returned. Of course, we would not consider the installation of this door. A third order has now been placed with an expected project completion date of March/April, 2022. This is a story of failed leadership, accountability and an uncanny talent for making incompetence look easy. If you are considering using HD Home Services please know that their agreements do not have any language for recourse for failure to perform services in a timely manner. Note: The installer (Brandon) is knowledgeable, professional and timely. Insist on his services if you are so inclined to deal with these folks.

We don't usually shop Home Depot. We're just Lowe's people. However, I saw a great deal and ordered a large tool cabinet online. When I got to the store, the associates were extremely helpful. After loading this 400# cart in our truck for us, they saw a large dent and accompanying crack in the item. They then unloaded and replaced the item. Absolutely stellar customer service from Luke and I'll be shopping HD far more often now.

THE HORROR STORIES ABOUT HOME DEPOT ARE TRUE. DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANY HOME IMPROVEMENT. This has been the worse experience with trying to get new flooring. The contractors show up (our sub flooring is discolored) the guy installing sent a picture to his boss and his boss told him to leave because the floor needed to dry for 5 days. We have not used these rooms in months so there was no way they were wet. We talked to the guy that was installing the floor and he said the floor

I'll give them some stars. I like HD. I buy a lot here. They have good products. The people working are friendly. Never had any problems. The people in paint are helpful. Usually pretty clean.
