Bought a couch and a mattress was really excited now getting them delivered seems to be the issue. Keep getting the runaround and the delivery tracker is not accurate. I just wish a customers time was important our original delivery time was in between 10am and 1pm. Some should either be fired or fix this. Would appreciate a call from corporate.

Absolutely baffled by how horrible this delivery experience has been. They claimed to only come to our city once a month so we waited almost 4 weeks for our furniture (which was fine as we hadn’t moved into our new house yet). They then sent a third party delivery team that managed to crack our headboard all the way through. They claimed they had another one in stock but couldn’t send a replacement for another 4 weeks.Another 4 weeks rolls around and we have to call to find out that it’s not being delivered and they don’t have it in stock. Gave us another estimate of 2 more weeks. Questioned them about why we were told it was in stock and they only come here once a month if it was not in stock and they apparently come twice a month now. AND DIDN’T EVEN CALL TO INFORM US! All she said was “I’ll talk to the team members, they shouldn’t have told you that.” Terrible customer service and horrible delivery.

CAREFUL, if you select delivery!!! Purchased a new bed from Value City Furniture in Evansville, IN. They chose a 3rd party shipping company for setup and delivery. The Driver from the shipping company , backed into our new home we just moved into. Then refused to help unload anything, antagonized me to try and get me to fight. I decided to video instead and he continues to call me a "LIAR on my own property" parked up against our new house he just drove into. How about a "sorry" ? This happened 4 weeks ago. Value city has waived the delivery fee but that's it. Oh and for the home damage, We were told "sorry , but you have to deal with the shipping company since its 3rd party". WE got an estimate from our contractor, they wanted the same delivery driver to bring us the payment (i guess they take the funds out of his personal check) We told them to mail a check or use any of the other methods of transferring payment. They then come back and tell us we need to get additional quotes since its over 1000.00 . otherwise they can only pay us 1000.00 (company policy) . As of a week ago, the shipping company stopped answering phone calls and replying to emails. My wife and i have no less than 10 hours invested in sending emails with pictures and videos, waiting on hold, chasing down quotes....We should be reimbursed by VALUE CITY!!!! and they can work out reimbursement from their shipping company, but I am told it doesn't work that way. I highly advise against doing any business with VCF and their cut rate delivery company they choose!!! If I could post negative stars I would.***UPDATE a week later. I have called Corporate office and spoke to them about getting nowhere with the shipping company about damages to our new home. They told me they would call back Monday. I heard nothing so I called Tuesday, they said the supervisor I needed to speak with was busy and would call me back ASAP, its now FRIDAY and no one has bothered to reach out. It is so comforting to know i was honest in my feedback and they are disappointed I didn't have a better experience. This company is a Joke and only cares about themselves and nothing about their customers once they get their $.****FINAL UPDATE: I like to be fair and genuine in my reviews. So, we still never heard back from VCF, but we did receive a check to cover our damages from the shipping company. We will not be back for future business.

Went mattress shopping today. The salesperson Michelle was so helpful! She showed us options in our price range and was very insightful about each option. When we had card complications she was calm and patient waiting for us to sort out the problem with a third party company! She was polite and courteous through the buying process, please request her if u go for a sleep upgrade!

I purchased my furniture an got the extended 5 year warranty. They told me everything was covered. Well come to find out thats definitely not the case. The arm of my couch broke were it reclines. An they said its not covered.

My husband & I went to this store on May 8, 2023 and truthfully we were impressed with their showroom and our saleswoman Gayla was wonderful! We ending up picking out a King size bed frame & mattress, whole new bedroom suite, couch, loveseat, chair and a dining room table with 8 chairs. We were told if we put money down that day we would lock in our delivery date so we did we actually paid a big sum of money that day to be sure we would hold our slot. We can back to Evansville on May 18, 2023 and paid the rest of our total that day. Our delivery date was set for June 14th even we weren't ready that day we were told to call the week before and they would move our date back..we weren't quite ready so we called the week before and were assured that our new delivery date was now June 28th. Because they only deliver to our area every other week we were told. Meanwhile we worked our butts off getting everything ready flooring was all laid and we actually moved all of our old furniture out on June 27th. We were told that we were called and left a voicemail (no voicemail and I can't say 100% we were even called.) My husband called yesterday since we weren't hearing anything back on setting up a time for delivery just to be told we weren't getting our furniture on the 28th of June but instead we were bumped all the way to July 19th without checking with us at all first. So, my husband starting asking some questions the lady on the phone got sassy with us and she was rude as well! We asked to talk to a manager and to begin with Blake was nice but as time went on he became short & rude as well! They moved our delivery date now to July 12th but we were told our furniture will get to the store on July 5th. And the amount of money we are told they will give us back for all our trouble is completely laughable! To sum everything up I definitely wouldn't recommend people to shop at this store in the future! They have been very dishonest with us (honesty is huge for me!) they have overpromised, they have been sassy, rude and very uncaring through everything not helpful or workable at all! Keep in mind they have had all of our money for 41 days now but somehow we can't get our stuff! Keep in mind our house has been torn apart since April. Even though I really like their furniture their service & management are completely awful! Blake told us on the phone last night this never happens because I asked him how they can do business like this? And, he's like this just doesn't happened and then I come on here and see the same thing over & over (see want I mean?...dishonesty!) My family has been in business for over 50 years and you just don't treat people like this! We are very unhappy with this company and I sure wish I would have checked out all of these negative reviews before I went into that store on May 8th! You can't say you haven't been warned here if you decided to take a chance I wish you luck! :(
