We have had great experiences with Alpha K9! We recently had Maddie train our 1 year old Viszla in the 21 day board and train program. She took such great care of our puppy and we are very impressed with how much he learned in just a short time. She listened to what we wanted to work on, and kept us informed as the training went on with both notes and pictures. Highly recommend her and Alpha K9!

We were so happy with the results of our puppy going to Alpha K9. Maddie was the trainer and she did an amazing job and totally bonded with our baby. Maddie provided updates on his progress throughout training and was great at guidance after the process. He's done great transitioning back home and continuing all the good things he learned.

Highly recommend Maddie and private lessons. Very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Planning to continue our training and move to their group classes when Dorie Jeanne is ready.

Our dog Reina has been through two training courses at this facility, and we loved it so much we now use it for daycare and boarding. The staff is extremely nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. In addition, Reina (the biggest critic) pulls us into the building every time we go there so we know she loves it there as well.

Great place to get your pup socialized, trained and acclimated to water. Very nice, friendly and helpful staff! Love that they add swimming and socializing in every class. Will definitely be back for more advanced classes

My 7 month old Doberman puppy Blaze went here for a two week board and train with Hannah. The results were phenomenal. My expectations were exceeded and I am motivated to continue his training. Blaze immediately progressed to the intermediate puppy class with Dave. Among learning traditional puppy obedience Blaze was introduced to swimming. The first attempt to get Blaze in the water was met with him kicking and resisting with all his might. The second week was slightly better. The third week shocked me when Blaze leapt into the pool on his own.. I plan on continuing his training at Alpha K9 University. AKC Good Canine Citizen is the next goal Blaze and I have our sights on. Can anybody say OTCH? Take your dog here! You won't be disappointed.

The first class our dog who was the smallest dog in the class was terrified when all of the other dogs had unleashed time and did not get away from the wall and the instructor had no words of help for us. Our dog growled and shaped at the other dogs- it was stressful. The second class he was put in a different time with smaller dogs and still snapped and growled at the other dogs again no assistance or guidance. I have not been I impressed with the leaders of the class.

Not happy with them at all and do not recommend to others . I had signed up my dog for puppy class: beginner obedience . Be wasnt even 6 months yet so the 100 people with kids and dog in the tiniest room was super distracting but we gave it a shot . I did have to remove ourselves from the room multiple times due to distractions . The owner gave me a prong collar to control him... mind you this is a very submissive golden retriever puppy . After that class i started to have my doubt about this whole program . A few days later I had to bring my dog in for a checkup where we found out he had giardia . So I emailed alpha k9 stating this and how we would not be attending the other classes . Instead of refunding they did not care whatsoever . So why bother with a fecal test prior to the class ??if the fact that when the dog gets retested and comes back positive they will want you to attend or tuff shit . I could have brought him in but I wasn't going to have other dogs get sick too. All in all

It was great ? We didn't know how our dog would do with other dogs, They tested her and found she was fine with other dogs! She did great and we were happy to have her there!

Our family rescued a Belgian Malinois. Kyra was in training to be a police dog, got injured and then medically disqualified. Kelly's experience has helped us immensely. She has extensive experience with a difficult breed. She was able to tell us that Kyra did not exhibit any of the common genic problems with the breed. In one short session, Kelly was able to show us how trainable Mals really are. You can't ask for a better trainer.

Best place to train your dog. So many choices and activities. Dock diving, obedience classes, agility.
