I’m reviewing both Kelli Arthur and Acension medical group on behalf of my significant other. From the beginning we had our doubts about this place because my partner takes Vyvanse and since it’s a controlled substance they have to contact the office to get it refilled. They shouldn’t have to contact the office every single time. And then, once they call the office the office is supposed to then call the pharmacy. My partner went to the pharmacy tonight to pick it up and they said to them that the doctor never even called it in. Every single time they are out of vyvanse, somehow you or your staff drop the ball and cannot get their priorities straight. At this point it’s just infuriating the amount of time we have them to have it refilled. This is unacceptable and will be awaiting a response.

I had my yearly physical on Tuesday 10/23/23. When I was doing my physical my Doctor was mad that I hadn't got my blood work done, or fasted so I could get my blood work done. The problem I didn't receive the email about fasting and doing my blood work until Monday 10/22/23 on my patient portal. Meaning I didn't get notified until the day before my appointment. I honestly hadn't had the time to check that email. You do know that we do have families and lives to take care of. Some advances notice would have been appreciated on task like that. So we can plan ahead.

Unfortunately, with the advent of Medicine being controlled more and more by government, and other agencies, it is difficult for Physicians to find time in developing a full patient Dr. rapport, other than that of the primary problem.I know the more seasoned docs, ones who once practiced differently, prefer a more personal approach other than being strapped to an indifferent computer. I am a retired RN with a long history of patient care.Dr. Justin Smith, Ascension Medical Group, exemplifies the ability of overcoming that personal loss! He is not only a superb clinician, but also a Dr. that is doing his best at resurrecting the patient/doctor connection! I know that isn’t a simple matter, and want to express recognition of, and appreciation for, his desire to fulfill a quality Dr. patient relationship! The North Side Ascension Medical Group and community are blessed to have him!

I had a good first experience with Dr. Shreader. She is very knowledgeable and patient. I also enjoyed the nurse that helped me as well.

Suzi Rexing and her staff are wonderful. Suzi has cared for all of my family for 20 years! I would never see anyone else! I trust her inpliccably with the care of me and my family! Thank you so much!

My Doctor was a very good listener and made me feel good about the visit. Prescribed meds and advice. I liked her so well, I would like to have her as my primary physician.

Dr. Shoemaker is a top notch doctor. He listens to your concerns patiently, never rushes you and takes the time necessary to understand any issues you may be having. It may take a while to get in to see him, but it is well worth the wait. The staff at this location is friendly and efficient. The facility is easy to access and is very well maintained.

Went to get prescribed blood work before doc appt, including from another doc. Was told before appointment they could do both by my doc. When I got there, they said they don't do outside blood work. After having fasted for 24 hours, I needed this done. The office manager said they COULD do it, but wouldn't, because my doc wasn't there at that moment. She did not seem to be a compassionate person. Very disappointed. Had to drive across town and wait another couple hours to get it done.

Team at this office is very friendly while remaining professional. They care about how things are going with your health and are attentive to your questions and concerns. I do not have to visit often, but when I do it is a positive experience and helps me manage my health.

My doctor is great, but the time needed getting in to see him when you have a real problem (like an ER visit follow-up) is atrocious. Not even the triage nurse has returned my call.

Kelli Arthur is extremely thorough, compassionate, and willing to offer referrals, for medical issues outside of her realm of expertise. Kelli is a definite asset to Ascension and Fishers Internal Medicine.

Dr. Emmons is an incredible doctor. He takes the time to know his patience and he truly listens. His staff is also incredible, very caring and kind. Alisha is great. Thank you for listening to me instead of at me. Very unique.
