Brought in two boxes full of clothing from quality brands and they only took four items, two of which were the cheapest and lowest quality items from Forever 21. The other two items were only worn twice from Calvin Klein and Eloquii. The Eloquii dress was purchased in 2023 for $99. They offered me $13 for all four items. This was a waste of my time. I was absolutely shocked when they said my items were “well loved and outdated”. I will not be selling anything there again. I did, however, walk around the store and saw some good clothes for a good price.

The black lady today had me waiting 3.5hours for my things when i came in it was one person infront of me . Then as time goes by i called & she stated the owner was on her way the whole time she wasn’t gone . Then she acts nice but if somebody rubs her wrong she won’t taken items at all

I have been to the Atlanta clothes Mentor several times. This was my first visit to Fisher's.... prices were much higher, and items are in poor condition, at fishers' location, compared to the atlanta store!

Made an hour drive here to purchase maternity clothes, as I had got an excellent selection at a great price here 3 years ago. But when I arrived they told me they got rid of all maternity clothes. Very disappointing considering I needed a place to get second hand nice clothes when I need them for a short period of time, this SHOULD be the place I can depend on.

Alyssa has excellent customer service! She greeted me as I came into the store and asked if I needed any help with my items in the car. She carried some items while holding the door open! She is very friendly and welcoming! Alyssa said Wray trained her and she did a wonderful job!

I’ve purchased some really great clothes from here. Their prices are far more reasonable than simply chic, and are honestly more competitive than Plato’s closet. I have only sold here once, but I took a batch of clothing items that Plato‘s closet turned away. They surprisingly bought a lot of it and offered me a decent amount for the purchase. Their clearance usually has pretty good stuff. Also, sometimes I feel like employees at these type of stores can be judgy. I haven’t received that vibe from these employees.

Tried to sell once and was turned away somewhat rudely. Tried to shop several months later and I guess I just don’t like shopping for used clothes. Very few items that appealed to me, some were not worth selling / cheap brands / poor quality. A lot of items are overpriced as well, so I might as well spend a little more, maybe even less (!), and buy brand new.

I brought individual items in at first. First experience was good. Had no clue about their policy about how things are supposed to be brought in for sale (in a bin, one at a time). It’s not posted anywhere in the store. Brought a few bags in (not trash bags) & was somewhat scolded when I walked in by an older woman with wavy hair. I had errands to run & within 10 mins of leaving I get a text saying my drop off it complete. I immediate knew I was getting all of it back. I returned several hours later & my suspicions were confirmed. Full pass due to style & wear. Ha! I had items in there bought within the last 6 months that were never worn (Nike, ADIDAS, boots, converse, etc).

I am going to start off by saying that most of the negative reviews are from people who wanted to get a ton more money from their clothes without having any idea how much time and money goes into reselling second hand clothing. They also run multiple social medial profiles and a website!!! If you want to get more for your clothing, then sell on POSHMARK or marketplace yourself. That being said, I love Clothes Mentor! I have gotten so many amazing pieces from them from a gold Cartier LOVE ring to three beautiful Gucci bags to tons of lululemon and so much more!! And I've paid a fraction of what these pieces would have cost brand new. I am also always getting compliments on things I found there so I've basically become a walking advertisement for them and am always telling people about them I've gotten more compliments on my black bug Gucci bag I bought from them than on anything I've ever owned! I also love going because I never know what I am going to find! I am guilty of checking their website once a week at this point because I never know what's going to pop up. Most of my family and friends shop there now too! For Christmas this year, I've been tasked with making several outfits for friends and Clothes Mentor was the first place I went and found so many incredible pieces!To top it off, their customer service is incredible! The very few times I've had any kind of issue, they have gone above and beyond to resolve it! And they are just so kind and friendly as it is! They have a customer for life!!
