I brought my van in because of a humming noise, I assumed was coming from a nail in my tire. I have Road Hazard coverage.
The eventual news was terrible…the vehicle is unsafe to drive. A front hub assembly is shot and suspension work I had put off for two years is now critical.
What has me give a 5 star review is the way I heard others in the waiting room get their news delivered. Each of us received a thorough explanation and utmost respect. I have worked in Customer Service for over a decade and know excellence when I hear it. Thank you, Pep Boys, well done.

My daughter from Chicago had a flat tire on Saturday night. She needed to be back in Chicago on Sunday night. I took her tire in because the wait was only an hour. To my surprise, the tire was replace balanced and out the door in only twenty minutes. I expected this kind of service to be expensive, but it was no more expensive than the “big box” store around the corner where the wait was “at least three hours”!

I needed a patch put on a tire that had a puncture. I was on a tight time schedule, on a Sunday. One of the few days most tire centers are closed. However, superhero Jessica and her team took care of it, quickly!! It really was a pleasure being a customer!!
