I have been selling here for years. I have sold new with tags lululemon for 2 years if not more. Took two bags today of new with tags lululemon. I was told they can’t buy the items without seeing proof of purchase because it is a high end retailer. So ultimately you want me to dig through receipts so you can make double on what you are paying me for it? Your blonde hair shorter employee is extremely rude and other reviews clearly mention her. Which you guys have not acknowledged any bad reviews. I am not digging through receipts for you guys to make double off of what you are paying me. I probably supplied that store with lululemon (former employee which is why I have so much). Maybe have an authentication system in place. You will be loosing me as a consistent seller to your store of what you claimed “luxury” items which I can guarantee brought you the highest profit margins.

If I could give zero stars I would. I brought in many Gymshark and lululemon new with tags, as well as a ton of sweaters and jeans (BRAND NEW ZARA), and they took nothing. The girl who helped me at the counter was extremely rude and only handed me a slip with things highlighted, one being the items weren’t laundered or folded…. Which is crazy considering they were brand new. To me, it appears these workers are incredibly lazy. They don’t greet, ask if you need help, are inattentive, and appeared to just be gossiping behind the counter the entire time I was there. Absolutely ridiculous.

If I could give zero stars I would . I took 2 huge bags of clothes with a lot of expensive brand names & they gave me $4.44: I had already spent $6.00 on a tank top! I basically wasted 2 hours waiting on an offer. Complete waste of time to even go here.

I dropped off 3 bags of clothes having not done a transaction in awhile. I did so on my lunch break so I was in a great rush. I got a notification the items were ready about 2 hours later so I rushed over. Only to find out they took nothing. Me, completely confused, watched as the lady said they took nothing of 3 bags. Still confused, I walked out without any explanation given, only a piece of paper with things highlighted. While driving I looked and noticed they marked off not folded or wrinkled as one of the reasons. Not sure if the employee had a bad day or thought I was intentionally being lazy, but just explain verbally next time what was wrong. Not just slide me a note. I also wasted time out of my day driving 25 minutes. Lighten up, the customer is not always the bad guy. There’s a lot of expensive items in the garbage bags that I was kind enough to not just post on Facebook marketplace but support the business locally. Probably won’t go to that location anymore.

Overpriced, I could not justify going here when Goodwill is cheaper and better at times. There’s a certain style they sell here that I’m just not interested in

Misleading discount sign. Signed up for texts in line and tried to use the reward. They said “You have to have already been signed up for texts”. Like I’m signed up now what??? Then they gave me no bag for my 50$ worth of merchandise😒

I’ve tried to sell clothes here on several occasions and they never take anything, mind you everything has been new a lot still has tags on it, freshly washed, folded. Not to mention the staff is always rude, at every Plato’s Closet in Indy! the clothes they sell are way over priced, you can find cheaper and find more buyers on poshmark. Don’t bother coming here, if the prices and lack of clothes they take doesn’t bother you the staff’s attitude absolutely will.
I won’t be coming back and this is your warning not to shop here! This place sucks.

I went here on Saturday while being in the area and wasn’t disappointed. They had a TON of sports related clothes such as the Colts. Their men’s section is definitely a LOT bigger than the one in Avon, which is a giant plus, and honestly all other Plato’s Closets I’ve been to which usually just puts it in the back corner. Their sunglasses rack wasn’t that full but that’s okay. They had a lot of fitting rooms and I ended up buying a few Vineyard Vines shirts and IU jacket. At least their checkout debit card machines weren’t in Spanish unlike the one in Avon.

This Plato’s is a joke. I brought in a majority of unworn clothes many still with tags and was told they wouldn’t take anything because it seemed like it hadn’t been washed since it’s last wearing. Beyond that, the majority half of the basket hadn’t even been looked at. I wouldn’t have been as mad about that to begin with if I hadn’t spent 3 hours lingering on that side of town waiting for a text to tell me it’s ready that never came. Spare yourself and go the one on the west side because this place is ridiculous.

This is a good location!! I generally have pretty low expectations of Plato’s closets but this one is actually good. Not only were there actually cute clothes, it was organized well, and the staff was communicative and pleasant. I’ve never sold to this location before and when I came in everything was explained in thorough detail, which I appreciated.

Every time I’m in here the blonde older girl has been rude. Don’t expect to sell anything to her or get help because she doesn’t care!
Also don’t waste your time bringing anything here to sell because they won’t buy it, even if it’s actually valuable.
