I have been to this location twice in the last year and there was no wait time and the technician was very friendly and extremely helpful.

We had the pleasure of being scheduled to work with Sandeep. She was very skilled and professional. Quest is very fortunate to have her.

Horrible experience. Did not have my doctors orders on file and had to stick me twice. Very painful. Poor service. Do not recommend. Try to find a blood lab at a hospital or doctor's office instead.

My wife had her blood drawn at this Quest Diagnostic location and had such a wonderful experience that she felt the need to call me immediately following her appointment with the good news! She has needed many blood draws over her lifetime, and she relayed that her blood draw with Sandeep was "the best experience by far." I'm happy that my wife was treated so well and had no pain. In the future, I will definitely go to this location if I need blood work because apparently Sandeep is a pretty amazing phlebotomist!

Quest is the worst! If you don't have health insurance, don't even go there! You'll be charged a lot, they stopped giving discounts to uninsured people. Shame on you Quest!

I set up an account a few days before the appointment, but apparently it did not "flow" into the site's kiosk computer. The employee was helpful in setting an account up for me in the office. Both staff members I interacted with were pleasant and accommodating. I believe the office signage could be better, as I entered Community Health's suite on the first floor In error and the receptionist there seemed like she directs clients upstairs to Quest all the time.

We had an appointment at 110pm with code and confirmation, I had quest confirm they had everything from my doctor while we set up the appointment. My husband arrived at 1pm and was turned away. Only 1 person was working and claimed they couldn't find the information from my doctor and would not provide the test kit prescribed. This caused loss of work, another reschedule at another location and my labs to take another full day when I'm very ill. The 146th street location employees had no problem location my information.

I have never put the “wrong birthdate” on any of my paperwork. Apparently for one of the staff members that’s the reason why she couldn’t find me. Darlene was rude, unprofessional and really disrespectful. Not coming back and do not recommend it.

Just SAY NO to this place. Rude yes, but more importantly, INCOMPETENT! I gave them my doctor's orders, they took five vials of blood and gave me a jug to take home and collect all my urine for a 24 hour period. No hat to put in the toilet to collect the urine, just a 1/2 gallon jug. When I asked how to get the urine in it, then they produced the hat. When I took the urine back in a couple days, they said, "We don't have you in our system, are you sure you came here?" I said, "You took five vials of blood, you better have me in your system!" Then they found me in the system and said that they don't have any order for me to collect urine. I told them they would not have given me the specimen container for urine if they didn't have the order. It's been a week since I dropped of the urine, which was no fun to collect, and no test results have been given yet. They also couldn't find my doctor in their system and they started whining about it being time for them to go home. If they were competent, I would have been gone way before time for them to go home. The gal that drew my blood put on a fleese jacket covered in pet or some sort of hair, it was gross.

I realize times are different and it's hard to staff and they probably are far too many places for people to go to have adequate staffing. However, it is very frustrating to be completely automated and never be able to access information when you're waiting for a lab draw. I will be on the search for having labs drawn somewhere besides a Quest site. A person should have some idea they will wait 10 minutes or two hours.

Probably two of the rudest people I have ever had to deal with in my lifetime. There are ways of telling someone that they require an appointment without being so nasty. Nor is there anything posted anywhere that says that appointments are now required. I’ve been going there now for 18 months, and was never informed an appointment was required until today. Both ladies are very difficult to understand, between being soft-spoken, accents, and that they are always turned away from you. Couple this with everyone wearing masks and me being hard of hearing, and it’s awful.I’ve gone there for testing with very specific instructions from my doctor that the vials had to be placed in the box I was instructed to bring, and sent via UPS. When I arrived there with that package, they looked at me like I was from another planet! They had to make several phone calls to find out exactly what they were supposed to do with it. Quite frankly, I just got the feeling that they didn’t want to have to deal with some thing a little more complicated than what they’re used to, and it left me lacking confidence that it was even being done correctly.Having been a medical professional for over 45 years, I am also appalled that in this day and age, a phlebotomist will leave you with an enormous hematoma. I actually took photos of it! It was massive, painful, and lasted for weeks. Her technique is awful.Several weeks ago, she informed my husband that the testing his doctor had ordered would not be covered by insurance and he would have to pay $800. When he got home without any testing being done, I called our insurance company. She was completely wrong. The testing is all covered by our insurance. He went in today to get his blood work done, and was barked at, “ do you have an appointment? You need an appointment to have blood work done. You can TRY to sign in.” There were three people in the waiting room. When we turned to walk out, she said, “Well, you can try to sign in on the kiosk.” Why would we even want to go there after being treated like this?Unfortunately, all of our labs have been ordered from our doctor through the website specifically to Quest. The next time we go back to our PCP, I will be requesting that we use a different lab.

I like this location and I think the staff is very kind! They are quick to get people in and out and try very hard to be efficient and kind to patients. I’m sorry to say others have had a bad experience but I have been here at least six times and it is my go to place. Thank you to the two ladies who are working here you’re doing a great job!

Extremely rude!! I felt like I was being treated by a robot! I love the quick checkin on the iPad and they were quickly out to call me back but then everything went down hill and FAST!! The nurse was extremely hard to understand! Between a quiet voice, looking away from me when talking, a mask and accent I had to ask her to repeat several times. She went over the small bit of paperwork looking at the computer monitor facing away from me. Told me a cost....which with my insurance I should not have paid anything but I did. When it was time to take my blood she just said....arm and then went in with the needle and she started taking my blood..she never asked me which arm would be best which was very rare for me......Not friendly or personable and it HURT when she was taking blood......It was as if the needle went from one side of my vein and out the other! My arm over an hour later still hurt from the needle and a couple days later I had a huge bruise inside my elbow which I rarely have when my blood is drawn...I have NEVER experienced so many of these things before when I had my blood drawn! The nurse told me I was done and as I was getting my purse she turned around saying something thinking I was a different person. When she saw me she was almost scared. Then on my way out another nurse was almost yelling at 2 different people asking if they had masks. Yes the experience was fast but I am not sure I will be back.
