I was transferred to another unit because my previous unit had several openings to the outside that are foundation issues to the unit which allowed a rodent to get inside and destroy my mattress, recliner and futon. The main opening issue is in the kitchen flooring and hallway door post at the bottom have a gap from the floor to the door post this was repaired by applying glue to the flooring which does not work and the hallway gap opening were caulked both issues were basically repaired as a cheap solution with a bandaid to save the property money. I also advised maintenance from the outside of my closet door there is outside opening where the air conditioner unit wires are that are in back of the closet that remains the same. I asked to be transferred I was offered was told I had to sign a 15 month lease and pay one month rent for transfer fee, I then asked for compensation for damages I was told by the manager that I was denied a compensation and her manager agreed I asked for the phone number 3 times to who her manager reported to I was ignored finally I was told by her manager that higher management denied my request as well but was never given an email or phone number to speak with the regionals manager. The incident was reported 12/22/23 I got an email a couple weeks later I could transfer to another unit my lease would end regular scheduled time and the transfer fee would be waived, they feel this is compensation for my inconvenience of damages and moving in zero temperatures all unexpected due to their negligence of a unit that should not have been rented to anyone until those foundation issues were repaired oh I forgot maintenance took my mattress, futon and recliner to the dumpster which I appreciate and they should have. I think waiving the transfer fee is a great compensation when you request to move for a bigger unit or upgrade not when the issue is not your fault and out of your control that’s an insult to my intelligence. I just wanted to warn you what type of service to expect from management if you ignore all these reviews trying to prevent you from a big mistake I wish I had read them before I moved in. The unit I moved out has also been scheduled already to be leased to a new tenant and still has the same foundation issues.

From the experiences I have witnessed there is certainly still room for improvement. Renovation should have been optional. Things were not installed or cleaned up properly and they removed uqui e features.

Staff has been very helpful to me when I had questions or navigating certain aspects of the website. Through e-mails, they came me up to date on anything I may need to share with Jordan.

I am pleased with my stay at Sanctuary for the pass 2 years. There have been several improvements in the counter tops, sinks, etc. The only concern I have is the need to remove the leaves and pine cones in the carports, parking lots, and sidewalks. In bad weather these could be hazards in rain or snow.

I have been living here for a few years now and before we more, I wanted to make sure I leave an excellent review for an exceptional staff worker who works in the leasing office here at the sanctuary, her name is Carolyn. She is truly a resourceful person with a warm and welcoming aura. I have never had an issue with her as she has always tried to understand our concerns, listen empathically and work diligently to resolve the matter above and beyond what one would expect. The sanctuary is truly lucky to have such a stellar contributor to their team, and I would strongly recommend Mrs. Carolyn for a promotion or some sort of special recognition. I realize that it is often the case that people make exceptional contributions, and they often go unnoticed or unrecognized. I wanted to say thank you to her and leave a positive review to acknowledge her remarkable skills as a team player, but as a wonderful host. Thank you so much Mrs. Carolyn. Myself, and many other residents I have talked to, greatly appreciate you, please keep up the good work.

I love it here! Compassionate Management team and Maintenance that goes beyond expectations. The community is clean, peaceful & full of kind residents. The dog park is awesome! My lil guy has made so many friends. Great location, close to a variety of stores and restaurants. I am happy we found our home.

Late July we had a fire caused from a lightning strike to our apt. The property manager Jessica and office staff Carolyn, and Recee as well as the maintenance staff Sterling, Brittany, and Dillion have all went above and beyond with helping my daughter and I. Jessica knew the lightening struck somewhere in the complex and asked everyone to go look to see where. Brit came to our apt to check on our dog because she knew we were out of town. Not too many would do that or think of that. We have our own little community at The Sanctuary. Me and my daughter are very thankful for them. And our neighbors!

I have lived at the Sanctuary at Fishers for 2 years and just signed my new lease. Ever since the new management took over at the start of 2023 it has been nothing but hell. I had no hot water for months that was not fixed. I continued to place work orders that kept getting “completed” but no one actually came to my apartment. They made us clear out our apartments that we are LIVING in for renovations and gave a 5 day notice. I have not had air conditioning since the beginning of summer and have called relentlessly with no avail. The management office has no answers to anything. I asked to make a formal complaint twice and no one got back to me ever. The maintenance staff is very rude and condescending so it is extremely difficult to express concerns. DO NOT LIVE HERE. I regret signing another lease after the management changed. There is so many other issues with my lease that I did not even mention. Plus they barely keep the complex clean.

I moved out of this complex at the start of February. It is now June, and I have called, emailed, and left voicemails regarding my security deposit to no avail. I left the apartment cleaner and in better condition than it was when I moved it. Staff have been unable to assist me with any further information regarding the receipt of my money. This is completely unacceptable. No time was wasted taking my money every month, so there should not be such a delay in receiving money back that is owed.I will pursue legal action if this issue is not resolved quickly.

Renovations were done on Friday, and kitchen drawers and cabinets were installed incorrectly. I cannot access anything in two drawers as I cannot open them, multiple cabinet doors are misaligned and scraping paint off cabinets with every open and close. I was told this was going to be fixed by Tuesday. Tuesday came and went, I tried calling 6 times, at different time points throughout the day and could not get anyone on the phone. I have tried messaging through the online portal only to get no response as well.A plumber broke my screen patio door two months ago that has been laying flat on my patio, and the door to my hot water heater has been wide open for the same time frame letting in rain and birds. The communication and customer care is horrendous.Edit* Issues were fixed after review. Only wish it didn't take so long.

Stay away! The Sanctuary at Fishers may look charming and cute, but the management here is utterly terrible. All staff that work in the office are rude, unprofessional, and lack basic intelligence needed to run an apartment complex. As you may have read on other reviews, on Christmas Day 2022, many pipes burst in this complex. My unit had no burst pipes, but was without heat from December 23rd until January 5th. We were offered a hotel after several days of having to just “figure it out,” and when we declined (because who wants to relocate to a hotel on Christmas Day?!) we were not offered financial compensation. After January 5th, our apartment had a terrible mold/mildew smell and was lacking consistent running water for several weeks. All attempts to contact the management were met with more questions than answers. They were never able to tell us when repairs and maintenance would be completed. They called us daily (while we were temporarily living over an hour away with family because our apartment was unlivable) to ask us questions we had already answered multiple times. They refused to refund us for the days that we paid rent when our apartment was truly unlivable. All in all, if you move here and have any issues at all, know that they will NOT be taken care of in a timely manner, and all staff you communicate with to solve your issues will be rude, dismissive, unorganized, and clueless. Needless to say, we moved immediately and haven’t looked back! There are SO many amazing places to live in Fishers, and Fishers is a great place to live - don’t live here and devalue your Fishers experience!PS - if you DO decide to live here against all advice, get yourself a Ring doorbell. Then at least you can catch them in their lies when they say no one has been in your apartment all day to do repairs (even though you’ve watched 3 different men go in within the last hour).

April 2023 by Ashley Carr
The only reason I give the extra star is because the person in the office who was helping me tried to do everything he could to get me in somewhere. I applied over a month ago and got bounced around. When I came in for a tour they told me they would have something available the beginning of April. Gets to the beginning of april and they are passing my application around between people who didn’t know what they were doing. I finally get everything in & told I’m approved with conditions THE VERY NEXT DAY of course when I’m trying to move in all of the rent goes up cause they’ve renovated. The apartment I applied for was on a waiting list, why tell someone it’ll be available a certain time if it’s not? Why say approved if you know the rent is going to go up. Very annoying and wasted a month of my time.

I moved here about two years ago. Things were little ok in the start. But the new management took over and since then everything changed. In December the pipes froze in my apartment and we are Almost in April, they still have not fixed my apartment. I have most of my stuff still there.Another important issue : Since I moved out and my apartment was flooded with water and they stated big fans to dry the apartment as well as heater (so as a result I got huge bills which they did not bother to compensate.Lastly, I am temperay living in two bed room instead of three beds, I asked them to at-least with all that happening give me some discount as there is a big difference in price between two and three bedroom, which they completely ignored and added an additional 100, as I was figuring out how much to pay.To this day my issue has not been addressed and my calls have been ignored by the complex. Please just save yourself the trouble, read the bad reviews that are left about this place take them as truth and go elsewhere. Don't live the nightmare that I lived here, everyone has got a lot of other life issues to deal with, please don't add one more.
