I will continue to update my review to honestly document my journey as a costumer. Windermere is just one of many Vetcor owned facilities. I’ve been bringing my dogs here for about 4 years now and so far:Charges have not been properly explained or documented - this seems to have improved over the past months.I’ve had lovely experiences with Lauren (groomer).Wonderful in-person experiences with the veterinarian. Most of the staff is friendly and express empathy.Unbelievably unprofessional experiences with the manager - Julie.RESPONSE TO “Owner”: Please remember that conversations may be recorded in Indiana.I do not think that another phone call with Julie would be appropriate.I will gladly accept Vetcor contact information instead! Thank you for attention to this matter!

We have had great visits at Windermere Animal Hospital! My dog has seen both Dr. Ingold and Dr. Arnold so far and both doctors are amazing!I love how everyone at Windermere, staff, nurses, and doctors all take the time to really work with me and my dog by listening and making us feel welcomed and comfortable. It's so nice how they treat my dog like their own and I don't feel like my dog is just another number that they are rushing to get in and out of the office. My dog has always struggled with anxiety at any vet office, but she does so much better when going to Windermere, and that is all because the doctors and nurses take the time to work with my dog and make her feel comfortable with them!

I couldn’t recommend Windermere Animal Hospital enough! We absolutely love everyone there. My 7 month old puppy, Bonnie had a strange growth on her leg that was recently diagnosed as cancer. The vet techs, Dr Ingold, and everyone at the front desk took such good care of us and I feel like we are in good hands. Dr ingold took extra time with us to explain next steps and answer any questions we had. Thank you to everyone at Windermere for the everything you have done for us! :)

I took my dog here for years. I got him groomed and treated by the vet. Although I Love Dr.Nix (who I believe has retired) Dr. Nix always took time to treat Milo. One concerning thing that happened was that I asked them to prescribe Milo trazodone. I drove an hour back home to find out they filled the bottle with the wrong medicine. Turns out it was seizure medicine. Instead of apologizing, they told me to bring it back and they would get me what I needed. For our last visit there we saw a different vet a woman because Milo needed more anxiety medicine she was okay not the best. For the longest Milo was being groomed by Rory who did an amazing job and Rory always communicated. Rory has since left and Omar was our new groomer. Milo has only been seen by Omar once and that is because when I came to pick Milo I noticed Milo’s fur looked really weird and I did ask why it looked like that. Omar said it would work itself out. It has been a year and Milo's fur still looks horrible. (Milo's fur has never looked like that until after Omar groomed him). I got Milo's vet records because we are moving him to another vet and I was reading them and to my surprise found out that Omar had muzzled Milo even though I specifically told him that Milo is very anxious and gets overwhelmed very quickly “If you feel you can not groom him call me and I will pick him up” I tell this to every groomer he has ever gone too. Instead of calling me Omar decided to muzzle Milo. Stressing Milo out for no reason. I called to ask about this even though it happened a year ago, and they told me they would have Omar call me. Omar never called so I called him. Omar then lies and says he never muzzled Milo even though it says it in the vet records. I should add Milo has never bitten anyone, not a vet, not a grommer! And if he had Omar should have said something so I knew. But NO, when I picked Milo up he told me how great Milo did. NOT once did Omar mentioned Muzzling Milo. If Omar would have communicated I still would have paid the full bill and tipped. I guess he wanted his tip real bad. Omar said he wished I would have said something a year ago. Omar, I would have said something If I knew! Omar asked what he could do for me and I told him he could apologize. and I quote " That is not happening, what else do you want" Omar hung up on me instead of apologizing. ( Maybe because I used some choice words but well deserved in my opinion) Wouldn't recommend Omar to anyone, please watch your dogs.

The staff is so friendly and responsive. We were able to be seen the same day we called and get the prescription my dog needed. We’ll never go to another vet.

Love the doctors and staff! We have come here for over 20 years. Their love of animals is very evident in all that they do.

We have used Dr Nix and Windermere Animal Hospital for our various pet’s healthcare since they opened and have been very satisfied with their expertise. In the last few years we started to utilize their boarding services. After each boarding experience, we have been less and less happy with the service. Our last experience was a 12 day stay for our Westie. We drove home 11 hours from our vacation to pick up our dog on Saturday instead of the scheduled Monday only to find they were now closed on Saturday. There was no mention of this at check in and their phone message stated that they were open Saturday until 12.When I picked my dog up on Monday, almost all of the wet food I had brought was still in his carry bag. As it turns out, our Westie was fed once a day at 6:30 AM. When I explained to the “boarding tech” that he was to eat wet food twice a day and kibble once a day, she mistakenly wrote feed once a day. Our dog lost almost 7% of his body weight.I spoke with Dr Nix to rectify the situation and was told he sold the practice to a company in Boston. I asked who. He said that he would speak with them concerning this matter and would get back to me. I haven’t heard from him since. We have opted to change veterinary care for our Westie and have switched to a new boarding facility.

This place was incredible! The assistants were so nice and they understood that I was scared bc my dog was having surgery to get teeth taken out. They took time and talked with me about it. Dr. Arnold was amazing! He sat and talked with us for like 15 minutes making sure we understood what he did during the surgery and what we would do for the after care. He told us not to hesitate if we had a question about anything. Great care!

Our appointment was on time. The frint desk staff, tech, and vet were all kind and thorough. I appreciated that they didn't try to sell me on extra procedures, products, or assessments for my 16 year old cat.

This was not a good fit for me & my pets. Did not seem to have a consistent staff. Price went up when I asked more questions. I do not recommend it.

I tried multiple vets and groomers before starting with Windermere. They are affordable and every employee I have interacted with is kind and amazing with animals. Our shihtzu was never afraid to go there. Many dogs get scared when you pull in to the vet or groomer, but they were so good with her in every way that she was never fearful. Extremely compassionate and informative when we had to put her down. Our two puppies will be going there as well. Highly recommend!

Dr Nix and the rest of the staff were amazing with fitting in my German Shepard for an emergency check up after getting lost for 24+ hours. My girl was still pretty on edge but the staff made her feel as comfortable as they could throughout the entire visit. They even checked in on her the next day to see how she was doing. 100% will be transferring to this practice for future care.
