Vet was thorough, compassionate, explained everything in detail. Our cat needed to stay overnight and they called us to keep us updated on how he was doing.

I have been with Hillside for 10 years. It used to be a great vet office. I'm not sure what has changed in the last couple of years but it's different now. Don't get me wrong, the staff is friendly, the vets are great but it's just different. Appointments are harder to come by and if your pet gets worse and you have to come in sooner than expected, you get hit with an urgent care fee. That happened to me on my last visit. Fine, it's extra to be seen the day of my appointment but at an earlier time. I don't really have an issue with that. What I take issue with, is that during that visit, my dog was examined outside of the room, not in my presence and was only examined for a few minutes. So I essentially paid way more money for way less care. Every single visit seems to be several hundred dollars with minimal services rendered. Sadly it seems to just be a cash grab. I get it, everything is more expensive these days, but I just can't get behind these super high charges for very basic care.

Excellent care and we were very pleased with the overall care our cat received while in the hospital. Would highly recommend!

The staff were very kind and compassionate with our baby Runt. We we called they were able to work us in for an emergency appointment and explained everything to us, and gave him excellent care. We would highly recommend them for your animals care.

Everyone was so patient and kind. We were the last ones of the day and they treated us as if we were the first. They took their time and loved on each of our animals so well.

I would’ve expected my dogs to be examined in my presence, but they weren’t., the dogs were taken from the room and examined somewhere else. I liked the doctor and the vet tech but I would rather have my dogs examined right before me.

Vets and techs are wonderful to work with but wait times for scheduled appts tend to be anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour.

Dr Joe Schifano made a farm visit for annual vaccinations and to discuss a leg issue with my horse. Dr Joe is very personable and knowledgeable, and listened well to my concerns. I would definitely call him again, if needed.

Great staff and they have been so helpful caring for Miss Lance since day one. I rescued a sick kitten and with their help she is thriving.

Don't go to this veterinarian they overcharge for everything..they did surgery on my English Bulldog for cherry eye they ended up doing it twice she lost one eye and then the other eye is still cherry. Every visit is 300 to 400 dollars. Won't even give this dog medicine without bringing her in so they can make that extra money . And their excuse for her eye was the sutures must have did it. If anyone wants to reach out to me feel free and I will send you a pic of my poor dog
