I have a giant, fluffy english cream golden retriever. She's large and in-charge but her grooming is difficult to manage. In addition to the dog fur party, she's nervous around anything that makes an electronic noise so forget clippers, hair dryers, etc and definitely forget about letting dog-parents cut her nails. We had searched and attempted tons of groomers....and then a we got some recommendations to try Just for Pets. What I wish is that we went there sooner. The groomers are kind and knowledgable, they discuss techniques and inform of issues if spotted. My dog comes out with a bandana some of the time, which is cute as can be. (I get it, the circumference of her neck is on the bigger side!) But even without some accessorizing, my dog looks great after grooming. The prices are on par with the area. And let me tell you, we live on the East End of Louisville. We drive 30 mins to get Gypsy groomed here. Worth the drive.

The staff is always willing to help and focuses on the well-being of your pet.Our dogs is always happy to walk in and stress free when walking out.They adapt as needed and many times go above expected service.Unless they go out of business, we move out, or stop having a dog, we plan to use Just For Pets whenever we travel.

i have always had good results boarding my dog until recently. when I picked up my dog, he had lost 5 pounds and was a filthy mess, he was so dirty that just lightly petting him covered my hands in dirt. Additionally he was very nervous and he was sick. they reported he was nervous the first couple of days, but then was ok. How then did he lose weight, and no leftover food when extra was sent? The worst thing was he was sick and traumatized. vomiting blood, then regular vomiting and diarrhea. I spent over $800 in vet bills and it took over two weeks before he was well. I will never go back.

The staff and Dr's are always friendly and caring for your pet and owners. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

A great place to board your pets. They have fun outside and get to play with other dogs. Sometimes I wonder if they really want to come home.

Even tho it's been a little over 2 weeks, I'm still upset with "Just For Pets" so I'll keep this review as short, and gracious, as possible. Reception: Not particularly inviting. Grooming: The last 2 times our dog has been here they've injured our pup. (Never happened anywhere else.) They also scissor trimmed off one of our dog's natural features even tho I told them not to. Boarding: Lots of red flags here, but the worst was our dog smelled absolutely revolting from bacteria which indicated our pup was either stressed out during the stay or the facilities weren't clean.

Everyone at Just for Pet's is great to my furry big baby. Jenna has trimmed him for quite some time and does an excellent on my Pyrenese.

This is a review near and dear to me because we have 3 dogs. I left my German Shepherd and Lab with Just For Pets recently. As much as we love our dogs, they have often been a hindrance to traveling too much because of my worry for their care. Just For Pets was a real blessing at just the right time, because now we have a trusted kennel for our fur family. It came at an unfortunate time when I had to leave out of town for a week due to a death in the family. I toured the kennel beforehand and really loved the area they had for the dogs to run. It's a really cool facility. What made it really comforting to me was knowing our dogs would be taken out 4 times a day, there was camera monitoring, and the owner lived close by the kennel. The proximity to my house was icing on the cake as well. The staff were great and really put me at ease that my dogs would be treated well. I cannot say enough about how grateful I am to the staff here. I HIGHLY recommend them!

I left my 2 dogs here for 6 days. My large dog lost 8 pounds! They never once called to tell me she was not doing well. I’m guessing no one even noticed. Both dogs smelled so bad (like disinfectant) that I had to bathe them as soon as we got home.

We recently had a health scare with one of our dogs while they were here and the staff went above and beyond to help us. We were out of town and they took our dog to the vet and really helped put our mind at ease while we were away. I will not be taking our dogs anywhere but here any time soon.

My dog's attitude is atrocious when trying to clip her nails. I take her here and I am in and out and my dog is happy.
