Some players find the layout not very interesting and feel the course is overpriced at around $60 per round, especially compared to nearby options that are more affordable. Pace of play is often slow, and the course is sometimes seen as too proud of itself. Amenities like a bar service are available, though sometimes slow. Despite these issues, many enjoy the course's challenge, the improvements made over the years, and the opportunity to have fun and stay on your toes while playing. Pace of play is bad and overpriced. Greens are quick, alot of undulations around greens and overall a tough course. Allowing more than 4 people to play is never a good idea!

I love valley view but I was very disappointed to play recently with *no* water on the course.
It’s 90+ degrees with humidity and it’s slow to get stuff at the bar, it’s honestly dangerous. Tee boxes were pretty rough too but other than #3 green they were in good shape and pretty fast!

Played Valley View yesterday. Course was still soggy from recent storms. Had to keep carts on the path. course layout is nice. Sand traps were all mud. This is not a $60 per round course. There are far better courses not too far away for $10-$15 less. They seem to be a little too proud of this place.
