The Allen County Public Library - Main offers something for everyone. It is an excellent library for both adults and children, with many quiet places to read. The library provides a wide variety of weekly children's programs, including story times and special events like cooking classes, though these popular activities fill up quickly. Families can enjoy dedicated toddler, child, and teen centers.
For adults, significant features include a business development center and an amazing historical Genealogy Center, where specialists provide fantastic, professional help and guidance. The library also has a Maker Lab with equipment and helpful attendants for projects like transferring home videos.
Practical amenities include free gated parking across the street with a library card, as well as metered and garage parking. Library cards are free, with several designs to choose from. There is no cost to use the library computers, which can be reserved, and printing is available for a small fee.
Great place for the kids when weather is bad or during winter. We love hanging out and bringing books home!

Well laid out, very clean. Lots of restrooms that were clean. Staff were informed and helpful. Parking was easy. A great place for kids. The theatre space was ideal for the event I attended. Seats were comfortable. Audio was good. Great time!
