Very bad experience. Went to get contacts.got an eye exam. Was denied contacts because of a few cataracts (I'm 66 years old) Went to Eyegass Express..The doctor said I had a few cataracts but he would not deny me.Said he could refer me to a eye surgeon IF I WISHED. Told him I wanted to wait until a later date.WHICH IS MY CHOICE!! I now have my new contacts ordered! Now I'm out the money I paid to America's Best! Do not go there!

This was the Lima Fort Wayne Indiana location. Very poor customer service. I have been going here for years. They called me and left messages. Messages that they wanted to confirm my appointment.I made the appointment months ago. Two days prior to appointment, I called the Lima location back. A young man answered I told him I was calling to confirm appointment. The young man answered said I was good to go. He told me to fill out the form sent to my email. I did so. I thought all was set. The day before the appointment, I get an email that says my appointment has been cancelled. I called as soon as I could morning of my appointment. Apparently, she says they've called me three times. There isn't time for an eye exam with my health concerns. What?! I don't know what kind of playing is going on in this place. I will not go back. I will not recommend to anyone of anyone I know in need of eye exam services. This was rude. If my appointment couldn't happen, that young man should have said so. I don't tolerate this kind treatment because I don't have to.

I had a great experience at America's Best. The eye doctor was very professional and kind. Jessica helped me to pick my frames out and priced everything for me. I really appreciated her kindness and how helpful she was to me! A wonderfully positive experience.

I had an eye exam here and everyone was very nice with a positive attitude. I didn’t have to wait long to see the eye doctor. The glasses are more affordable than other places I’ve seen.

Jessica was fabulous!!! She helped me pick out the PERFECT frames for regular glasses and sunglasses - I ended up with 5 pairs! She has a great eye for color and design as well as strong sales instincts. I've been in retail management and Jessica is definitely a gem! ?

Every experience i have had with this place, has been excellent! I've never been happier with a place overall(price, customer service, and fast in and out times) as i have with AB. All employees were very friendly and professional, and Carin went above and beyond with her knowledge and patience in dealing with my undecisiveness. Big ups to her for that.

BUYER BEWARE!!! I don't typically write reviews but I cannot say enough negative things about this organization and felt it was worth it.When trying contacts (that didn't work and I was unable to see) I was scolded for not wearing them into my appointment.Then, I purchased the highest tier of prescription glasses I could in November of 2022, only for the lenses to have a stress fracture down the middle less than a year later. When going in to have the lens replaced, I was told I didn't purchase a warranty and "What do you want us to do?". I wanted to be able to see out of my glasses. I was never offered a warranty, nor was there any proof that a warranty was offered and I declined. I have a toddler at home and can assure you I would have purchased a warranty if it was offered. I've had other pairs of glasses from other optical stores last years without issue. You will pay hundreds of dollars for low quality lenses that have no warranty associated with them.There are MANY options for optical stores in Fort Wayne, and I will never choose America's Best again. I hope this review saves you from making the same mistake!
